I thought about writing this review several times, however always tried to give this location the benefit of doubt. However I have had it. The customer service is unacceptable here and it’s a shame because they food is so delicious. Any time I order, rather it’s a call in or placing an order in person, the young lady is extremely dry, no personality, no matters rather it’s a “hi how may I help you or thank you for coming have a nice day”. She NEVER says anything. In addition to this I don’t know if this location picks and chooses when they want to be open or closed but the door happens to always be locked. I’ve been coming to this Harold’s for about 6 years and this is by far the worst customer service I have experienced.

As usual I am starving I was out most of the day and wanted some Harold’s chicken. I ordered a mixed chicken dinner. The chicken was hot and the fries were good . I got 4 pcs of chick a wing breast thigh and drumstick lol I shared it with my dog.

I asked specifically for 6 wings fried extra hard. We just wasted our money completely because the food was not fried hard at all. We could not even fry it longer because we also asked for the sauce to be placed on the side and it is on the chicken. The fries are also not cooked at all.

I’m actually very frustrated because this happens multiple times. I am a person who really loves the coleslaw as part of the very expensive dinner that I purchased .. I specifically asked her to double check because this person who is a very nice person seems to always forget the coleslaw .. when I order it I purposely ask “Is the coleslaw in the bag” and she opens the bag and says yes.. and on a few occasions I went to the car and checked and it was not there I would go back in and say “you actually did forget the coleslaw” she kindly puts it in.. this time I did not check. Of course I got to my destinations and there was no coleslaw. Very frustrating again the lady is nice but I would really appreciate after paying almost $17 for my order of five wings and some cookies that I could get the full meal which includes the coleslaw.

I went in the Saturday before Father’s Day and ordered gizzards. I has the but if the bread in my order. I went today and complained and ordered gizzards again and asked to please not give me the but of the bread again and they did it again!There’s only 2 bits in a loaf of bread! I specifically asked not to be given the but..May seem petty but I HATE the But end of a loaf of bread. Ridiculous!!! Who is the owner?

Terrible service & unprofessional! The cashier -Jennifer was rude. The chicken was not fried hard like I ordered, when the cashier put “fried hard” on the ticket twice. How many times does it need to be communicated to the cook?! I will never spend my money with this place again. It’s sad we can’t even support a black owned restaurant!

I haven’t had wings in a very long time and a friend decided to treat me to lunch. I’m not going to lie I can give or take harolds. The wings weren’t bad..the wings were hot but I didn’t get to eat them right away. I listened to my friend place the order and the person seemed a bit combative when he asked her to pack his order a certain way. While I appreciate being treated the price of wings are outrageous..almost 20 for 10 wings. I’ll probably never go back to this location but not because of bad service .
