Such a great find, and “in our own backyard!” Staying in this ‘hood for a long weekend on the coast, from Mesa, AZ. Staff was magnificent, food was even better! Steak, eggs, papas, tortillas, salsa… Mmmmmmm… perfecto!!! Muchisimos gracias!

This was one of few sit in restaurants in the Alpine city area that was still open for dinner at about 8 pm. Plenty of space and seats inside. Very good food, good portions, excellent presentation and atmosphere, had dinner for two. I ordered shredded beef taco, which had a nice salad mix on top, was quite filling, wholesome and tasty. The enchilada was very tasty. Waitress was very helpful and attentive. There was also an outside seating area with plenty of seats.

The food here is excellent, and for the quality the prices are definitely fair. The Al Pastor tacos are impeccable. Some of the best enchiladas around. Rice and beans always on point. Service is always excellent as well.

I’ve lived in Alpine for over 20 years and still occasionally give this restaurant a chance because their food is delicious! Unfortunately, however, they really lack service. For a while I tried going on certain nights to sit with certain servers, but the service is so hit or miss that it makes me really not want to go back.

Decided to try a new place with my family and now this will be THE place—- service is ok but the food makes up for that- trust me on this one. Can’t wait to go back!!! Carne asada was hands down 2nd to best ever- so tender!!! Albondigas broth real authentic boil down- get you some of this!! That ranchero will be next on my hit list for sure!!! 5 tables occupied, and I haven’t been offered a refill, will be reflected on tips, which means no tips at all, food tasted great, no ketchup on the table for my hasbrown, I had to put tapatio instead.

The food was really good. I had the tacos Al pastor, and the other person had a tamale and civicie tostada. Portions seem small, but they we’re filling….so….. Prices seemed fair.
