I wish I read Patrick’s review before I ate there! Yes, fried okra and kale are good, jalapeños chicken is still too too salty after a year. I rinsed off the glaze, but I think the chicken was marinated in very salty brine before it’s cooked. Hope they improve and prosper after they change LoL

One of my favorite places to visit in the neighborhood when I want something with a little more substance. The pepper chicken and jalapeno shrimp are my favorite main dishes for sure. The candied yams, lo mein noodles and green beans are my go to sides. I may sub for plantains every now and then to slice things up. Lol

Had the jalapeño chicken – everything is fresh, but the glaze is so incredibly salty that it ruined the taste of everything else. I like salt/spice, but it tastes like someone spilled wayyyy to much salt (or maybe soy sauce?) in the mix. Avoid this dish.
