My wife and I have had several meals here over about a year’s time. We’re certainly not “regulars” but once every couple months we’ll have a nice meal at Bella Pasta. I’ve had a few different dishes, all of them good, but I tend to stick to my traditional favorite. The food is fresh and always tasty and well-seasoned. The pasta sauces look and taste scratch-made. I did have one meal where the pasta was a tiny bit overcooked, but by no means inedible. You get a choice of soup or salad before your main course and the salads have always been fresh and crispy. My wife always gets the soup and has always said it’s good. The price for a plate is definitely on the higher side, especially for this town, but it’s not outrageous and the portion size, quality, and atmosphere kind of reflect the price point fairly. The wait staff has always been friendly and we’ve never had a poor experience. All-in-all, it’s worth eating here if you’d like something more upscale than the food traditionally offered in Shady Cove.

Not what you would expect. Way better. Bella pasta has brought a touch of fine dining to the Shady Cove area. The wait staff is professional, well-mannered and friendly. The food is amazing. The ambience and atmosphere is that of a much more expensive dining experience. Shady Cove needed something like this for a long time. Great place to have an intimate meal with family and friends.

Was there last year and loved it! The Service was good this year and it was a packed restaurant. The food was good but last year it was great! We got Scarface and chicken Alfredo. Basically the same dish with different pasta and Scarface has mushrooms. Just not as good as before

Waited an hour to be seated and was incredibly disappointed. The chicken Alfredo was awful. The chicken tasted like mar far chicken pieces, and the Alfredo sauce tasted like burnt butter. I couldn’t eat it so we told the waitress and she said she’d give us half off since I didn’t eat it. When we got our bill, she gave us $2.00 off the $16 meal I did not eat. Will not be going back there again.

I would love this place to do well. THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD.Right now this is still a biz in its first year in a small town so it needs our support. Proces are about 13 to 15 a plate but quality. It is in a beautiful historical building in Shady Cove. I had the gnocchi with Alfredo.The alfredo was very creamy and buttery wonderful consistency and very good taste, aldente on the dumplings. Hubs had the meatball sandwich, very good and little daughter had the kids spaghetti which was great, generous portions. Please try!

Food was not impressive and the service was terrible! One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had! I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and a salad. It took almost ten minutes for my salad to arrive and then the dinner arrived 20 seconds later. So I had to rush to eat my salad, so my dinner wouldn’t get cold, but it got cold anyway. The Alfredo sauce was very bland. $16.95 and there were only six shrimp on the plate. They tasted freezer burned. No one came back to check on me or refill my water glass. When I was about finished, the server returns and asks, “are you going to want dessert?” Really? That’s how you ask?? By this point I was done with this place so I declined dessert. The server brings me the check. Not one word of thanks, just the check. And guess what? It was the wrong check! She brought me someone else’s bill for $95.00!! I tried getting someone’s attention and I was ignored. Finally the server returns and I show her the check. She looks at it and can’t figure out what’s wrong. It seemed like forever before she finally sees the problem! She brings me the correct bill but with no apology. I paid my bill and left. No one said “thank you” or “goodnight.” This was my first visit to this place and I will never return. Note to the owner: If you expect to stay in business, hire people who know something about customer service or you will go under in a very short time. I can overlook mediocre food if the service is great, but I don’t tolerate bad service no matter how good the food might be.

Tried Bella Pasta again last night for the third and maybe last time. Service was terrible and the food only So So. We got there after 6 PM and it was only half full. Only the window booths were taken. When we walked in the lady at the check-out said to go over and get a couple of menus and find a table and the waitress would be with us soon. After being there at least 15 min, the waitress (I think her name was Jessica) walked over and stood by our table. I had to ask for something to drink and then we ordered. After another 15 minutes I flagged her down from behind a counter (where she was trying to figure out how to divide up two couples dinners) to ask her if we were going to get our salad BEFORE dinner, because the first time we went there we got our salad a couple of seconds before they brought our dinners). She said she would check on the girl making them. They finally brought out our salad and we no sooner started our first bites when another young man brought out our dinners! We had him take them back to the kitchen while we finished our salad. We had the lasagna and chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce was very bland and didn’t taste like it had very much, if any cheese in it. The lasagna sauce was very plain and tasted like tomato sauce rather than an Italian sauce. (This was the 2nd time trying the lasagna, hoping it would be better, but it wasn’t). Meanwhile, our waitress wasn’t doing much of anything. She never once came back to our table to ask if we wanted any more to drink or if we wanted any dessert or even thanked us when leaving. However, the poor cashier seemed to be doing everything from cashiering, making salads and seating people. There were even a couple of times that others came in and waited to be seated because no one acknowledged them for several minutes. I was hoping this was going to be a good place to eat because we needed more restaurants here in Shady Cove, but sadly it isn’t.

Awful and expensive. Terrible service for very poor Italian food. Not sure the “Chef” even knows what Italian food is. Too bad as it’s a great location and a wonderful building. Waiting for this place to go out of business and something decent to come in before I will go back.

Wasn’t worth all of the hype. Drove all the way from Klamath Falls for my parent’s 51st wedding anniversary only to have poor service and food that gave everyone diarrhea. Wouldn’t go back. Dine at your own risk.
