On a brief trip to NB I stopped through here and got a handful of items for a group. Once i got to our meetup we tore into everything that i had ordered. Nothing was left over, everything was excellent. The top honors go to the spicy brisket nachos though, they were just amazing. The birra tacos took a close second, but dang…. If you happen to be anywhere near here I would strongly recommend checking them out!!

I had high hopes for this place. The location is super convenient however I often find myself searching the convenience store refrigerated section to avoid buying breakfast or lunch from here. I have never known any other “tex-mex” restaurant that is incapable of making a decent bean and cheese taco. I have reluctantly given them multiple chances to redeem themselves thinking that I have just been unlucky the 5 or 6 times that I’ve bought their food. Today I was amazed because not only did the bean soup that they poured onto a tortilla taste burnt, the bean halfs were almost crunchy. I’ve never experienced something like that before. I think there are many people out there who want to buy your food for it’s convenience but I myself feel taken for granted. I mean you can’t even provide a decent bean and cheese taco for $2?

Love being able to stop at Select Stop and get good BBQ too! Everything I have tried is really well cooked and the pricing is on point. You can call ahead bigger orders as well. If you live in the neighborhoods off Klein road and surrounding this is close so you don’t have to drive into town to get food.
