I absolutely love love love this Restaurant!! The Food Is Amazing, Clean, Hospitality Is All The Way! An incredible spot if you Love great food, music family atmosphere they have it all! It’s affordable and I’d rather eat here than any five-star Diner. When I first came to Cleveland this was the first restaurant then had good Down Home Country Cooking, As Well as Steak, Barbeque, Fish & Vegan Options, Outside Seating.. I Only get to eat 1 x month. So No Diddidaling.. if you never been the best time to go was not real busy is like between 4 and 6 on a anytime during the Week. Cuz they can get busy and I do have like specials and things for lunch, do you fix a favor and just stop by.. the fried green tomatoes fried pickles all that and anything and everything you can think of they Have it.

Lots need to be done to improve the food standards. Probably the worst burger in town so far. The fries were soft and cold- Probably done last night. Very disappointing. This is more of a drinking hole than a food joint.

We got to Big Tom’s relatively early for dinner and were seated right away. We hadn’t been seated for more than a couple of minutes before a very pleasant server showed up to take our drink orders. The menu was bigger than we had expected, but not so big as to be overwhelming. I ordered the poutine with the fried green tomato side and my husband ordered the burger. We’ve had fried green tomatoes many times over the years from many different places. These were hands-down the best we’ve ever had. They weren’t bitter and were cooked perfectly. The batter was great and the sauce that came with them was great. I’d never had poutine before, but after reading several of the other reviews that mentioned it I had to try it. It was fantastic, the brisket ends were lovely, cooked perfectly and whatever the sauce is that makes it poutine was really good. The sauce itself was fantastic, it had just the right amount of savor. I’d suggest getting it with the steak fries instead of the crinkle ones, but it’s going to be delicious with either. My husband’s burger came out cooked perfectly. He’d asked to have an egg added and no onions – the order came out correctly. We could see other diners from our booth and we didn’t see any delays between when a party was seated and when they were served. The place is clean, tidy and had a comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely be going back.

If you’re a fan of fried pickles, then this is the place for you. The fried pickle chips at this establishment are a must-try, and for just a few bucks, you’ll receive a heaping basket that’s sure to fill you up. In fact, they’re so delicious that you may find yourself too full to even finish your entree.

We stopped in to Big Tom’s Backyard Grill & Bar about an hour before closing on a Tuesday night. We were impressed with how clean and well-kept the restaurant was as soon as we walked in. The owner (Tom) and wait staff were very friendly and patient with us, as we had the usual long-day/first visit indecision going on. The small house salads were incredible! They were served on dinner plate sized soup plates and it has been a long time since I have had a salad so appetizingly presented. My wife and I agreed that they tasted just as good as they looked. Nice and fresh with a good mix of greens. I had the catfish basket while my wife and son both had the sirloin steak. James had his with a loaded baked potato made with pulled pork, and Brenda opted for the roasted vegetables. The steaks were perfectly medium-rare as orderd, the pulled pork was great, the vegetables were roasted to perfection, and the house-made barbeque sauce is incredible! We will definitely be going back, often. Big Tom’s Backyard Grill & Bar is both family-friendly and family-owned. Do yourself a favor and check them out the next time you are in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Our family absolutely LOVED our experience there!!! Our waitress (who was of Asian descent but we couldn’t remember her name unfortunately) was EXCEPTIONAL with her service and the food was PHENOMENAL!!! We’ll definitely recommend this restaurant to any & everyone we know!!!
