Just booked a family table of 8 and our night was amazing. Our family has been coming to Hunan Villa for over 30 years! It is our favorite family restaurant. Solid rounded flavors with large portions and everything tasted good but overall average. The chicken wings were very crispy. A nice stop to get full – enjoyed the complimentary tea but the handle of the tea pot was dirty and sticky from a previous customer. I would question if we visited again if MSG is used in the dishes because I usually get migraines within 30min of eating a dish with large amounts of msg added and I developed a migraine shortly after eating here – maybe it was coincidence? Or maybe msg?

Visiting from Texas and decided to stop in and try this version of “Chinese food”… this is a excellent place to eat! I dont regret stopping in at all!!! The dinner plates ran from $11-$18 and the food was filling. My Husband and I actually shared a plate and were more than impressed with.

I’ve eaten in and ordered take out from here often, has never failed to deliver. The only downside is that takeout portion sizes are considerably smaller than eating inside the store. Ordering food for a family of 4 – 5 is about 50-70 dollars.
