Had a lovely meal with a lovely person here the other night. Great ambiance, friendly and attentive staff. The steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. Empanadas were a good choice for a starter. El Morfi is one of our top choices when it comes down to choosing a place to eat out. The ambience is comfortable and the food is high quality. One of my favorite Argentine restaurants in Southern California. This place has an amazing selection of dishes. We had the meat empanadas, provoleta, the milanesa, a milanesa napolitana, steak sandwich and a milanesa sandwich. Will be coming back to try more dishes and some desserts.

Place is too expensive and I wouldn’t mind paying for it if it was worth it, but it’s not. The people who ate with me even told me that those were the worst Argentinian empanadas they ever tried. It was like food has no flavor! And service was same thing: The girls tried to be nice, but they lack proactivity. I ate the whole time without a napking, they never brought a glass of water (they didn’t offer) and I was even being charged an extra drink. Sorry but there’s a lot of improvement to make!
