I hadn’t eaten at a Pei Wei in years, but Chef Tila’s new entrees sounded really interesting so I thought I would give it another chance. When we walked in we were the only customers, but the employee behind the couter couldn’t be bothered to look up or to stop moving around her condiment packages. When I finally said we were ready to order she gave me a side eye, waited a little bit longer then finally took our order. I got the spicy drunken noodles and the chicken egg rolls. The Drunken noodles had heat but not spices. The chicken was very bland and had a weird after taste which concerned me. It looked good, but was a confusing dish that I wouldn’t go back for. When we left the employee was busy being short with an elderly patron who was having trouble with his credit card – not her finest moment.

Clean location with friendly staff. The parking is really tight during peak hours. I came to try their new orange chicken which was very good. Tasty but definitely not the portion I was expecting. Next time I will make sure to add extra chicken. Their chai tea is amazing, wish I could buy a gallon of it. Reasonably priced meal and drink for 2 for around $20.

Walking into this Pei Wei I had zero expectations. We had never been to a Pei Wei ever! I thought it wouldn’t be very good, as I usually eat at Panda Express. Panda Express doesn’t cook their food fresh, most of the time. The lady that took our order was very friendly. We ordered way too much, but the food was overall pretty cheap! The best part was that the food was made FRESH!! We got different Asian chicken dishes. General Tso’s and the orange chicken were my favorite!

I’ve been to other Pei Wei’s for awhile now but, this place On Knox St is wonderful. Young one at the register helped my girlfriend get something she loved to eat and was quick to place our order although it’s easy menu and you can’t really mess it up or is complicated.

We placed our order online for pick up at 1:20 pm. When we got there, our order was not ready and there were people waiting for their food for close to an hour. We finally got out food at 1:50 pm. We were given frozen lettuce for our lettuce wrap order and the Orange Chicken was under-cooked (I’m pregnant and definitely shouldn’t eat this!) and had no sauce or flavor. Picture of frozen lettuce for proof.

It’s easy and simple, the quality of food and service has gone down. update: may 30 2018. dirty tables stacked with bowls. slow service. UPDATE Aug 12,2018 slow food, dirty, this location staff looks like they are from a work release program for some kind of criminal. Update September 9 2018: came in with 3 friends for dinner. We were standing at the register being ignored by the person that kept taking orders for take out customer, after the 4th customer I spoke up. She still did not want to take our order. Once we started to order she kept telling us that they didn’t have that so we left and went to the Pei Wei on McKinney Avenue. Dirty and nasty. Do they ever clean the tea machine? Does this chai tea machine look nasty dirty?

Restaurant is clean but food quality has declined a lot over the 10+ years I’ve been coming to this restaurant. The taste of the food is not nearly what it used to be. The pork egg rolls were too peppery and tasted like country gravy from a diner. Probably won’t be returning. Prices are too high for gross food.

DIRTY!!! Service is terrible, quality is mediocre. Every time I give it a shot its not what I expected. I used to eat pay wei very often in 2008 and 2009 … since then I occasionally stop to eat just because name is familiar to me but the quality and food is not the same . They keep changing menu and not keeping the quality of food and service. I guess these corporations need to learn that cutting cost on those things is bad on the long run loosing customers. I know at least 10 people who complained to me about the quality… And place is dirty… nobody is cleaning it… I wont ever stop at this location again.

I have only been to this location a few times, but it is by far my favorite Pei Wei in DFW! Always so clean, food is hot and fresh, and the lady at the register (I think her name is Karina, that’s what my reciept says) is always so sweet!

Raw chicken this time. We’ve been given the wrong order 3 times, they never seem to know what the order names are, always check your to go order. Getting refunds is like pulling teeth too.
