Food has gone down hill. The hummus was store bought and didn’t taste like it used to. No garlic sauce. The spinach spanakopita we ordered tasted a week old and like they microwaved it. The falafels tasted old. I was extremely shocked at how different the food quality was from when I was here 8 months ago. The customer service was good thankfully.

I’ve been going to Nikos since their West Street Market days with Nikos serving the food. Good family business and healthy food. I always get the beef/lamb Giro and Nikos special. The Baklava was flaky and sweet. I just wish they didn’t charge for hot sauce. Other than that, highly recommended Greek food!

This is the best Greek food I’ve ever had! Definitely the best in Reno. The gyros are delicious, their hummus is to die for. I ventured out to try the lemon soup last time I was here and WOW it was amazing! To be honest anything on their menu is going to be absolutely incredible.

See bottom – food has gone down hill -‘They use to have the best GYROS ! We used to get them on the pier in Pacific Beach , San Diego . Nikos were just as good Very friendly always with quick service. This place e has gone downhill, and it’s sad – we used to love going and getting a gyro and fries. Their fries were huge, and we shared a small. This time, the fries were cut to a 1/4 of what they were, and they really skimmed on the sauce, and we had to pay .50 cents for it ! We were soooo disappointed. The new waitress was great. We heard her ask the cooked if she cut the fries quantity way down, she just said ” yep” rude. It’ll be a while before we go back . I’ll look around d town.

Best Greek food I’ve ever had, hands down. I love this place, and the owner is really kind and communicative. Once we ordered pickup during a crazy rush and she called me directly to tell me it would be slightly delayed due to a staffing shortage, which I really appreciated. They work hard and the food is excellent!

My wife and I eat here all the time. The food is very good. Today, we brought our 4 handicapped children with us. The waitress did an excellent job (with 4 wheelchairs) even though it is a small restaurant.

Just dropped by today to try it out for the first time, since I was in the area and had read good reviews. I’m not kidding when I say this was the best gyro I’ve had since I actually visited Greece ten years ago. This was so delicious and filling, perfectly cooked and seasoned meat, nice and warm, with fresh tomatoes, onions, cucumbers. Pita was fresh and soft and the tzatziki sauce must be homemade since it was so good. I will definitely check out more items on the menu next time I’m in Sparks. Glad to have discovered this gem!
