Woke up nothing to eat at the hotel (at least not good food anyway). Went to my favorite Google maps in search of a place to get some breakfast. This restaurant popped up since it was closest to the hotel. From outside looks ran down. It is attached to a restaurant and casino. Inside was decent, so I had to commit, plus I was straving at this point. It was super busy since it was the Easter holiday. Sat at the little bar and grab a menu. It is a sit yourself restaurant (FYI). Server Crystal was hustling but very nice. I was able to get my order in and waited no more than 8 minutes for food to arrive at the table. It was very delicious and enough food to where you did feel you were getting ripped off by price. Highly recommend if in area. Plus, it’s a military discount on food. I now have lunch for the hotel and possibly dinner. I got the order of pancakes plus bacon and omelet monsoon. Total price 30 bucks including tip.

Some of the best food ever. Just to take a stop for a break, after a long trip, this gem must be one of your stops for some good food.

I stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge me, after noticing that EVERY server saw me, a few minutes later a waitress said “can I help you sir?” So I stated the obvious; because I never saw a sign that said seat yourself. When she brought me a menu I told her exactly what I wanted before she set it down, 5 whole minutes later the very same person came back to the table and asked me what I wanted to order so I told her again. It all went down hill from there…..I won’t go into all the details, I’ll just say don’t come in here if you’re in a hurry like most truckstop restaurants seem to understand, like if you’re trying to grab a quick meal during a 30 break, you’ll spend an hour here minimum, which isn’t totally terrible, just sayin’ for informational purposes to my fellow drivers. The people who work here are very nice and friendly, lots of Midwest hospitality, which is a nice change for someone used to Westcoast liberal hatred and selfishness.

Great food, Good menu. Plenty of truck parking here with a bar, pool tables and a casino in one place at Flying J

To go orders get a 18% gratility. There goes the servers tip I would have given. And it would have been more than your 18% you stoll from me. Plus to go orders are only done by credit card over the phone. No I’ll pay cash. I’ll take my business somewhere else where they want and deserve my money.

Whatever you do, don’t order grilled cheese sandwiches!!!!! $10 for a sandwich. Outrageous!!!! I know prices have gone up, but talk about price gouging!!! And of course had no clue what the price was until I got the bill. Won’t do that again!!!! Almost $30 for 1 person

45 minutes, ordered a sandwich and a burger. Coffee cup, empty. Other guest that came in after us, got their food after about 15 minutes. Finally get the food after 52 minutes and at best it’s room temperature. Just ok food, may have been better if it was hot. Service stinks. Will not be back.

15 tables, 1 server. No hosts, nobody to seat you. 20 minutes at the front desk before sitting myself. 25 minutes for server to recognize I am sitting at a table, another 40 for food to come out.
