Dad’s BBQ is the best in the bay area. I used to live in the South, so finding a place that meets my standards has been challenging. Happy to say I’ve finally found a place nearby. Finger licking good!

Good food decent sauce tho the “hot” was more what I would call a medium but it was tasty! Eazy parking and a few tables inside if you want to eat there. Definitely worth a try!

The meat here is always tender and juice. The portions are also huge. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it is all very good. The sauce they use is also very good, and the sides are also decent. Check out Dad’s next time you are craving BBQ ribs or Tri-Tip.

So far I love the food and service. Everything was delicious. I had mild spicy and it was perfect. It’s a bit pricey. I look forward to trying more items from the menu.

I’ve been to Dads BBQ a few times now and I think very highly of the establishment. When you order at dad’s you get what you pay for. A three way combo has a considerable weight to it and may be enough for two meals. I’ve tried both the rib tips and tri tip and both have been excellent. The meat is tender and juicy. I enjoy the hot bbq sauce which has a very satisfying burn (sensitive tongues be warned the hot is actually spicy) whilst still retaining a very sweet and smoky bbq taste. Other BBQ places (ahem kinders) simply don’t compare in terms of taste and quantity. It’s become my favorite bbq restaurant and I recommend it above all others.

Typically I enjoy the food but lately it has been off. This was supposed to be dinner so of course after spending $25 I didn’t want to go and spend more money. I literally had to force myself to even eat less than half. Sauce was watered down. Meat was dry and tasteless. Honestly this is the food from the same cook last time it wasn’t good. If I ever go back it will be on the days she is not there.

I have been looking for good bbq, a family owned style bbq. I can tell I was about to get some bomb food from the first step in, the smell was amazing as soon as I opened the door. I got the ribs and tri tip and it was super good and that sauce they use

I came in person and ordered a three way w chicken, ribs and tritip. Paid the $39 tab w a $100 bill and got a fifty and a ten back. Tried to get two fives instead but she just closed the cash drawer. I didn’t tip as I wasn’t giving the girl a ten and I didn’t have any smaller bills. When I got our food home, there was hot links instead of tri tip. My daughter tried to call about it and was told that there was no manager available. She started to tell the girl on the phone about the order and the girl hung up on her! She tried to call back and only got the answering machine. This place is too expensive for bad service. That was one single order, but w enough food to split two ways happily. Still love the food, but won’t go back if I see the young girl w the long hair in there again. Today was Tuesday the 13th of June and about 7:30 at night.

This BBQ is probably good to you if you’ve never had bbq anywhere else but the west coast. Thus place is average for the area. It is better than kinders. It’s not really that good. It will satisfy a need if you have a craving for BBQ. It’s definitely not worth the price. There is also a $3 up charge if you order a meal with mac n cheese. Be aware as they will not tell you before they charge.

The tri-tip is delicious, the chicken is good and the spicy links are amazing! The mack-n-cheese is good but the potato salad is an acquired tast, I guess… the tri-tip though
