Best breakfast spot in the Calabash area. The eggs benedict is amazing, as well as the cookie dough stuffed french toast. Biscuits and gravy, and the beignets are also great. The restaurant has a very homey, local diner vibe but the menu is far beyond what you’d expect from a typical pancake house. This is no IHOP or Waffle House. The food is always on point, but sometimes the service isn’t the best (ie, waitress will forget to bring utensils, condiments). Overall this place is great and I will continue to dine here!! I really wish they were open later, this would be a great late-night spot too but they are only open for breakfast and lunch.

Had a wonderful visit at Matthews Pancake house! Meg our waiter did a great job was very quick and kind. The food was great I highly suggest getting pancakes with strawberries along with the sausage links. I will definitely be visiting her again next time i’m in town!

Absolutely love this place. The food is always amazing. There is something on the menu for everyone, not just breakfast items. The inside looks just how you would expect it too. This place is well loved. It can get busy at times. I would eat here everyday if I could.

Honestly I was a little leery just driving by, but I looked at the menu and decided to try it. Their food is amazing. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean. The coffee is great! The creme brulee french toast is out of this world. If you eat breakfast meat, stick with the sausage links. Hubby says they are better than the bacon.

This was our first time. Loved the keto pancakes! They were very busy but we were seated quickly and the server was very friendly and efficient. The food was served hot and everyone was happy with their order. I think we’ve found our new favorite breakfast place!

Wait staff is rude and more interested in their phones and complaining to each other about their lives than doing their job. In the middle of my meal they decided to mop the floors near me. The food is ok, but you don’t feel welcomed in any way. Hard pass.
