What a magnificent meal!! We had the family platter for 2, which was an incredible value. Every dish in the platter was wonderful, all the ingredients were high quality, and the portions were huge. The waitress was also very attentive and very proud of the quality of the dishes. If we lived in Michigan, this place would be in our regular rotation. 🙂 If you live around here, or you’re looking for an amazing meal after visiting The Henry Ford, I can highly recommend Al Shallal Restaurant!!

Fantastic food & service. From the moment we walked in, we felt like friends. The hummus was exceptional – very creamy and excellent flavor. Kibbeh nayeh was just as good – perfect texture and tasted great. Chicken & Beef Shawarma are both quite good. Lunch portions are generous. The service is absolutely wonderful.

I was very warmly greeted and was impressed by the staff. Had an extremely tender stuffed lamb entree. The hummus was on-point. My wife’s fattoush was excellent and our rice pudding was great. This is the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had in a few years. So glad I stopped in. Will be returning.

When I walked in to this restaurant for the first time there was no customers inside (probably it was not the dinner time yet) but after I tested the food it was really good there were couple of differences between theirs shawarma and the others first they don’t t put hummus in the shawarma and the second the chicken is Smokey and that’s what I was surprised with and love it in the other hand as well. idk I’m not sure it was smoked or not probably the owner reply’s here In total it was a good experience and I love the Decorations inside of the restaurant from the books that I saw you can read and the Middle East classical design over the fridge there is one thing though that I’m not happy with it the price of a regular soda like cook and Pepsi I never bought a small soda more than a dollar but I bought that from here for 2 bucks so probably that could be a good hint for the owner but I won’t take any stars from my review since the cashier lady was very respectful and kind

First time ordering from here. The customer service was phenomenal (Sarah took good care of us). She was confident in the quality of their food and they really did deliver. Some of the best middle eastern cuisine we’ve had in a while. My wife who normally tolerates the cuisine loved it as well. Will be returning for sure.

This is our second time enjoying the dinner for two… but it’s more like dinner for four! love the dressing on the salad. fresh bread and hummus not to mention the chicken dishes and the kofta. we chose the rice and fries. 50/50. Sara is always bright and friendly and is a joy when ordering 🙂
