The food was absolutely. But the service was terrible on top of that they gratuityed me $40 that I was unaware of. I had already left cash on the table and tip on my card and after I got away from the restaurant I looked at my account I noticed I had a $40 extra charge from what my bill was originally, I am a server and believe me I understand that when the place is so freaking busy you can barely the place is so busy you can barely place is so busy you can barely breathe the last thing you want is a 7, top with 4 kids, but it was my daughter’s favorite restaurant an she wanted me to try it, I was patient I waited over 30 minutes before anybody even offered us drinks,And all of the servers had bad attitude except mine, and yet she managed to charge me an extra $40 an extra $40 om top of a 76$ tab that’s absolutely ridiculous, please do better ❤️

One of if not the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. After finally given a table, I asked for water when chips and pizza sauce flavored salsa what brought over. Then waited to put in my order of two street tacos, no meat options btw, no Pastor or anything, you just get what they have, and then went to the bathroom. When I got back my table was cleared. The chips, salsa, and silverware all gone and there was a fresh ring of water on the table, meaning my water came and was then taken away in the short time it took me to wash my hands.

Heartburn city probably the most disgusting Mexican food I have personally experienced. We ordered the carne asada. I wish i had taken a picture to demonstrate how bad this was. Beef poorly cooked possibly some foreign grissled fatty piece of meat. I think we ate less than half. Refried beans filled the plate and were barely edible. Possible a table spoon of guacamole. I did request my wife into reminding me to never do this again.

The waitress let some homophobic table come up to us and threaten us. After confrontation, they proceeded to ask us to leave.

I had the seafood burrito. The sauce was thick, rich, and flavorful. The tortilla was surprising, unlike I’ve had before, fluffy, like pastry, went well with the flavor of the sauce and was well matched to the textures of the meat. The portion was probably ideal for me. The filling wasn’t overpowered but could have been more forward as the flavors were complementary. Tho I’m not really sure how to accomplish that without compromising the sauce so five stars.

Best Mexican food we have had in a long time. It reminds us of Benito’s in Joplin decades ago.

I haven’t actually ever eaten in the restaurant side but the Cantina is a great local lake watering hole…food is delivered from restaurant to bar without issues…. Don’t miss it if you’re spending time in this area.

Its nothing wrong, it just wasn’t open! We stopped by after 11 Wednesday, along with another man, a stranger checking out the place, but it was closed. Maybe next time!
