The service was good, just a bit slow for my liking. Other people were not waiting as long as we were. I think we were just in an “out of the way spot”. That being said, the food was fabulous and they were very accommodating of my off menu choice. The decor is nice too. It’s a nice place. Make a reservation.

Dined this evening with an old friend. Service was good, not excellent. I ordered a bean themed soup which was outstanding and an anitpasto. Both were great except for the. cheap canned olives in the antipasto. Yuck. She ordered a penni pasta dish which she said was outstanding. I ordered the veal picata with a caper sauce which was also outstanding. It was served with properly prepared mashed potatoes and some sautéed mixed vegetables. A great meal. My only criticisms are the low grade olives and the fact that the server tried to clear the table twice before we were completed our meal. This a should NEVER occur. Still a very enjoyable meal and I definitely wiil be back. LFR is a great restaurant and shouldn’t also advertise as a pizzaeria which degrades a really nice place to dine.
