Friendly service and great burgers. The burgers are fresh, juicy, and just a bit greasy (but not too bad). Their fries and onion rings are especially good. Can’t wait to visit again when I’m in town!

The best burger i’ve ever tasted in my entire life, no where in austin or san marcos can compare to the quality they have here, simple but brilliant. i recommend everyone give them a shot! services was great and they went out of their way to make the experience memorable. will definitely be back very soon

Jax Burgers Fries and Shake is a good place in San Marcos to enjoy a chicken burger or burger made with high-quality beef. The overall impression is positive, and I recommend trying their Baja Burger. The staff is friendly. If you’re in the mood for a satisfying meal, Jax Burgers Fries and Shake is the place to go.

Another fine trip into JaX Burgers, Fries, And Shakes! The food was out in about 10 mins from ordering hot and fresh off the grill. The fries were seasoned to perfection and the burgers were topped and perfectly presented. My wife and I are very satisfied with the level of flavor and consistency that each burger provides. This is our go to spot for a great burger.

The burgers are so good! Can’t believe we’ve passed by so many times and not stopped in! The bread is so soft and perfect ratio, the patty was well seasoned and had nice crispy edges. The Parmesan fires were really good, I felt could have used a pinch of salt. The bacon was good and the onion rings were lightly breaded and perfect. Will be back!

Great little hamburger place. Cooked to perfection and very tasty. Wish they had a kids meal option. 3 regular burgers and 3 sides with a shake was $50

Me and fam went to try new place. Ordered bacon cheeseburger and fries. Daughter got fried chicken sandwich. Wife tried garlic parm fries. Good ole flattop cooked burgers! 1/2lb burgers. Fries are ok definitely could be better. Burgers tasted great, juicy, well cooked and well seasoned. Fried chicken sandwich little bland needs more spices. Kids said yo dad these burgers be totes lit fam, straight bussin burgers. Price point expect to spend roughly $15 per person.

Best burger I have had in a long time possible since moving to Texas. Certainly the best burger this side of Austin. The shroom burger was great and I was told the classic was as well. Had sweet potato fries, parm fries, and my kid had onion rings all where great but the onion rings where especially well done. I was warned the double burgers can be to much and went with a single which was more than enough. Price was also very reasonable!

Burgers are always cooked perfect, veggies are fresh, bread is great. Fries and onion rings cooked perfect every time we go. Only thing lacking is you will get a “greasy spoon” odor in the dining area, and the bathrooms could use some improvement, but for me these are minor things. Highly recommend.
