First time trying and was an unusual menu with southern and Greek food. But husband and I decided to try the chicken tenders with fried greentomatoes. Great portion size, sides were awesome, but cook over did the fingers and hushpuppies a little. Kasey, our waitress was great. She helped with explaining things, answering all our questions, and keeping us happy. Will try again.

This was hard for me to put 2 stars. I love Country Gentlemen and have been a customer for years. My wife ordered the Greek Sampler, and it looked, smelled, and even tasted fantastic. But I ordered a shrimp poboy plate, and on the bun was 9 pieces of shrimp. 9.. more bun then meat. I used to love the shrimp poboy but this kinda makes me not want to order this again. Maybe it was an honest mistake. Also, I got a hand full of fries not alot. But this place does have great food so don’t let this review back you away from this place. Like I said, maybe it was an honest mistake but please add more shrimp and fries.

As first timers, it was a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to go back. Ordered the fried pork chop dinner and got two BONELESS pork chops. Wife got the roast beef po-boy. So many items to choose from. We will be back soon.

Very friendly staff. Country fried steak was good, but be aware they serve a Lemon Flavored rice. Was not a fan of it with gravy. I enjoyed the atmosphere and fried Catfish was good.

The atmosphere is great. I love the Greco decor. The staff is friendly. The desert selection is above average. But it feels like the food quality has gone down a bit over the years, but it’s still decent. The gyros used to be so juicy and the hamburgers were the best I had anywhere. But the last few times the gyros were dry and the hamburgers burnt a bit. It could be a fluke. But with the quality being inconsistent, I’ll have to give it a 4. It was a 5 for years straight and now when I recommend it to friends and family, I make sure to let them know that they have occasional off days. It really is the only restaurant I’ve been to where I’ve gotten both good Greek food and Cajun/Creole food. I recommend giving it a few tries before making up your mind. It’s a gem on the coast.
