The food is good the service is awesome the restaurant and restroom are nice and clean and I love their subs my favorite is the large stake and cheese and thier wings are awesome nice and crispy but juicy inside and the onion rings yummy I love little J’s I just wish we had one here in Deep Run NC Lenoir county they would make a lot of business here . But we have to travel to Lagrange and you have to try out their pizzas omg definitely well worth the long ride there yup . And the sweet tea is perfect . And it’s not expensive very responsible prices . And thier french fries are thick and crispy not like them limp shoes string french fries sold at them other fast food places little J’s fries are thick and crispy good stuff oh yeah lol you want be dissatisfied so stop on in bring you family or party enjoy I love and so will you .oh and if you like salads they have different types and they are delicious .

I’ve ordered food from Little J’s for years and I’ve never had a problem until today. I have a mushroom allergy, so I asked for no mushrooms, always. I opened my sub and at first glance, it looked fine. I took a couple of bites and this extreme itching starts in my mouth and throat. I opened the sub and this time I picked through the meat and found mushrooms. I called and they offered to replace the sub. I advised I wasn’t feeling well and also advised of my allergy, so I asked it I could pick it up the following day. I was advised only if I brought the sub back. There was no apology, no concern about the mistake that affected my health, I only received an explanation advising the Manager would think I ate the sub and will not replace the following day, if I didn’t have it with me. Well, even though my breathing was labored, I returned their sub and requested a refund. I really want to believe this restaurant understands the seriousness of food allergies and this was just an off day for them. But, as I’m sitting here in pain… I really don’t know. If you have a food allergy, never get too comfortable and don’t thoroughly inspect your food. Just because you’ve never had a problem with a location in the past doesn’t mean mistakes won’t happen and that anyone will actually care.
