Everything about my experience dining here was beyond my expectations. I visit Presique Isle maybe once a year and plan on making The Outpost a must visit at least once whenever I come up in the future. Outstanding job on everything .

The food was served hot and prepared well. The order was exactly as we ordered it. Atmosphere was a clean and bright family dining experience with historical photos along the wall. Salad was very fresh and the portions were average. The music wasn’t distracting nor to loud. A nice experience.

Drop shot at outpost was a great place. Great bloody Mary’s! The bartender was so friendly and gave us a delicious shot. Highly recommend for a stop along the snowmobile trail.

Stopped in for breakfast and it was outstanding. Server was really hustling and handling most of the restaurant herself and she still did a great job and got us our food fast. We both had biscuits and gravy with eggs, and it was excellent. Not sure if they make that themselves, but it sure tasted like it. Will definitely be back!

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! I went to Presque Isle on vacation for the first time and stopped here for breakfast twice. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and is in a great location. The first day I ordered eggs which were cooked perfectly and two pancakes that were light and flavorful. The sausage links were THE BEST I’ve ever had. Portions were generous. On the second day, I had the meat lover’s omelette which was fluffy and cooked to perfection. The staff was incredibly kind and provided exceptional service. The manager also gave me a tour of their newly opened bar which is in the lower level and it has a great atmosphere. This restaurant is a must if you are visiting the Boulder Junction or Presque Isle area. The Post just opened this past spring and I encourage everyone to support this FANTASTIC restaurant during these difficult times!

We were somewhat skeptical about coming here today, after reading an unfavorable review. But, so many other people sounded positive. We didn’t have to wait long for service. Our food was up between 15 -20 minutes later which is a normal time frame. It was hot, and delicious. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because the price was on the high side for the portion size.
