This is the BEST restaurant in Franklin, NC! Ate here for the first time based on reviews while visiting from Highlands, NC. Sienna, the owner was so lovely in all aspects of hospitality. Victoria was our server who was so knowledgeable about the menu as there were so many delectable options! She provided excellent service and we told her we would be back for sure! We went on a Tuesday, hostesses were friendly and sat us pretty quickly for not having a reservation (recommend making a reservation on any night you go so you don’t have to wait). Our server Victoria was exceptional. The 1/2 a chicken we highly recommend “best chicken were ever had”, moist, juicy and flavourful. The kitchen first “sous vide”, than finishes it once you order it. Great job kitchen. My scallops were tender and delicious but the white wine sauce on the pasta needs some tweaking. Finished with a flourless chocolate torte, yum. Thanks for a delicious meal, great service and a friendly atmosphere.

Perfection! I’ve been dining out every meal while travelling through North Carolina and this has been my favourite restaurant. My experience will definitely leave a lasting impression. I usually just order an entree as I don’t have a large appetite, but could resist getting 2 appetizers, an entree, and dessert The lamb meatballs and tempura mushrooms to start were phenomenal. The sautéed salmon was absolutely mouthwatering, and the cannolis are to die for. The waitress was very helpful, bubbly, and polite. I hope to visit again from Ontario Canada.

Recently passed through North Carolina and had the opportunity to try Gracious Plates on Main. It’s a wonderful gem nestled in the sleepy downtown of Franklin. The staff was super friendly with positive attitudes and great recommendations. I tried several things over visits to Gracious Plates. The scallops appetizer really stood out due to how excellently cooked it was. They nailed it perfectly without it being overcooked, it was sublime. The wine butter sauce was delightful and made these scallops disappear quickly. Next was the chicken, which was juicy with a nice crispy skin. Paired with sprouts and the loaded bacon mashed potatoes. My first bite of those potatoes was just pure heaven, I’ll still thinking about it. The next day, I returned for some brunch before I left to try the local Brasstown steak and eggs. It did not disappoint, it was properly seasoned and cooked perfectly to medium rare. Paired with an addicting hot fries and aioli dipping sauce. if you find yourself in the area and craving a great dining experience, Gracious Plates is worth a visit. Kudos to the chef and staff!!

Lunch yesterday was amazing! We had a party of 6 adults and 3 kids. Emily was amazing and accommodated seating as well as checked in throughout our time there. Emily, our waitress, was very attentive and answered any questions we had with a smile. All of our small plates and lunch meals were tasty, and the presentation was beautiful.

We were truly thrilled with our celebration lunch. The food was outstanding. I loved the smoked cheese grits cakes and the smoked trout as an add on to my salad. Our server, Steve, provided the best service we have ever had. We will be back and will bring more friends with us. Thanks Steve!
