O Maki Rolls + Teriyaki (N. Capitol Hill) Menu – Seattle, WA

Type : Restaurant

Location : Seattle, WA

Pacific Northwest is known for its fresh seafood and Seattle being the birthplace of Teriyaki in the US, we want to offer our customers the best of both culinary: fresh sushi rolls and char-grilled teriyaki at a fast-paced one-stop dining.
All our sushi rolls are made-to-order with the freshest quality ingredients and house-made dressings.
Our teriyaki dishes are solid, offering good quality meat and house-made teriyaki sauce. Our goal is to modernize the perception of a traditional mom-and-pop teriyaki shop, meanwhile maintaining the familiarity and taste we all grow up eating.
Besides sushi rolls and teriyaki, we also offer variety of Japanese curry and side dishes. Bubble tea are also available at this location.

I just tried this place for the first time since they opened, I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki with brown rice and it was great! The chicken is prepared perfectly, and I really liked the veggies and rice too; everything has a very clean and fresh texture/taste.

Food is ok, nothing special though. Mostly a takeout place so not so great for eating in. The waitress speaks perfect English with a local PNW accent until you ask her why she overcharged you for something you didn’t order (and didn’t get) that is on the receipt; then suddenly she tells you she doesn’t speak English, what a joke (she already got your money). Never going back again, this isn’t the only Japanese restaurant in Seattle!

Good neighborhood place. Is it the most sophisticated Japanese food you’re ever going to have? No. But it’s very good and quick. Bleep-blop-bloop on my iPad and 20 minutes later I’m inhaling chicken katsu curry. Almost too easy.

This place is a god send for this part of north cap hill. So few options in this part of the neighborhood. The sushi rolls, boba and slushis are fantastic.

First time trying this place. I got the Spicy Tuna Roll, Baby Spice roll, Over The Rainbow roll, and some gyoza. All were delicious! It’s maybe a little more than I would normally spend for takeout, but hey, that’s sushi for you (+ I probably ordered more for myself than the average person). I’ll be back for sure.

I would give this place a better rating but my third visit the quality was significantly lower, particularly the fried chicken (karage).
