This place was FANTASTIC!! As someone who’s worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years, this is how I’d want my place run! Atmosphere was great, food was delicious, and the service was top notch! From the host who welcomed us, to the manager, everyone was amazing.

The food here was delicious. Our server was so on top of it we didn’t even have to ask for refills or anything they were so quick. The place was really cute outside and inside. Everything looked great. Definitely going to eat here again!

We recently came for a ladies brunch, we had a large group of 14 so I made reservations in advance. Just to make sure you’re going to show, they require a credit card and will charge you a no show fee if you don’t cancel ahead. I wasn’t really familiar with the area so I asked Katlin (host) about parking. She was so friendly, patient and very thorough. She gave excellent directions and information. I complimented her on her thoughtfulness. I’ve organized and booked my share of large groups at various restaurants in So Cal, I’ve not once come across anyone who was nice and knew her facts the way that she did, many kudos Katlin. As for parking they will validate 1 1/2 hours at the Paseo garage. Garfield Ave street parking around City Hall is free on Sundays and they have small lots that charge as well. We arrived at the restaurant and our table was being prepared, a woman came out to greet us to let us know they were getting the table cleaned and ready. We were sat quickly and we viewed the menu and waited for our whole party to show up. Juan, was our server and he was nice and had some great recommendations. We started with the beignets and sour cream potatoes. Both were great the beignets were hot with powdered sugar and served in a bag just like in New Orleans with a lemon curd that’s so good. Fried chicken and donuts, lemon shrimp pasta and the hot honey chicken sandwich were the popular items ordered. I ordered the ribeye sandwich and it was really good. The mimosas were a hit as well as the Morocco iced tea and lavender lemonade. Just a side note they will only accept up to 5 forms of payment on a large party so bring cash or determine who’s going to be paying with cards up front. Kathie was the woman who greeted us initially and stopped by our table a few times to check-in. She turned out to be the general manager. She was very friendly and compassionate you can tell she’s been doing this for a long time, she worked the whole restaurant and always had a smile. The whole experience was very pleasant, I think this will be my next date night location. The area is nice lots of places to walk to and take in shopping.

Great Maple facilitated a lunch for our entire wedding party following our rehearsal and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We had tables arranged to give us our own section and they were accommodating for our large party size with several different options for the limited menu. Communication was clear leading up to the day of the event and they even allowed us to add 2 extra to the party a couple days before. The food and service were all incredible, the hot honey fried chicken sandwich was particularly tasty! Excellent restaurant in a beautiful area of Pasadena.

The food is good (nothing outstanding), and the server was really nice. The mimosa kit is ok. A little bit pricey for what you really get ! Also, after 1:30 hours a lady came to us and kicked us in a rude manner from the place…. definitely won’t come back again ! I think there are better places for brunch !

First time here at Great Maple. Our party was sat and immediately our server was pushy on getting our food orders in. We asked if we could have a few mins to look over the menu since it being our first time. She didn’t not take our request well. We ordered their cinnamon coffee drinks. Nothing special about the drink just ice coffee with cinnamon. The food was ok nothing great. The donuts were ok over priced $15 for 3 donuts. Over all experience here is was not the best. It’s a been there done that restaurant. Service was not the best.

This was a great place for brunch! The interior is very nice, and the staff were very friendly and kind. The French toast logs were good, but the Smoked bacon scrambled was our highlight. The potato side dish was also a huge highlight, with some great sourdough toast. We did order a cold brew and got a hot mocha instead, but it was still really good. We really enjoyed the brunch menu, but we hope to go back and try their other options!

This place is busy on the weekend and can be loud since you are close to other parties. Last time, I enjoyed my food more when I had breakfast food. This time I was disappointed, especially for the price. I had an expensive sangria that tasted good but was barely a couple sips since the glass was half full and it was full of ice. Prime rib melt was lacking in meat.
