Would have been good if it hadn’t been drenched in grease. There was so much grease that it leaked through the individual packaging for each item, and then through the big takeout bag, then it left a big grease stain on my counter. I was also missing 3 different items, and then was only given $5 back. I didn’t get the fries and drink with my chicken combo, so I paid $16 for one chicken sandwich. Then I paid $.50 for extra spicy ranch, which I also didn’t get.

*edit on 8/27** – thanks for replying! Try the chicken a few days this week- dont dip it in sauce. Let me know if u taste more sugar or savory flavor. I bet alot of people dip in sauce and dont even realize it tastes like sugar

Bird on the Run is consistently delicious but not the best hot chicken I’ve ever had. That being said, the amount of fries they give you for four dollars is insane, plus they are waffle fries, so, like, dang. It’s more expensive than fast food but only marginally better, so I don’t come often, but, when I do, everyone is always kind and gets me whatever I need, no problem! However, its hard to ever talk to anyone because the ONLY way to order is on an iPad. It’s not hard to get their attention but just a little weird to never interact with anyone really (I gave the atmosphere 4 stars, but they have Mellow Yellow, so I almost put it back to 5).
