First visit to El Carrizal was great! The dining room is beautiful, and immaculately clean. I had the tamale plate with black beans and Spanish rice. Two of the biggest tamales I’ve ever been served in a restaurant. My only complaint, and this is only minor, is that they didn’t put enough mole sauce on the plate. Overall, it was a great meal that was almost more than this fat boy could eat. I highly recommend!!!

Great new restaurant. The design is amazing. We ate outside in the thatch roofed area. The restaurant is one of the nicest in the area and well thought out. The food is excellent. They served tacos al pastor which I haven’t found since I was working in Mexico. Be warned, the portions are humongous and the price was very reasonable. Service was excellent. We’ll certainly be returning.

Excellent environment. The service is absolutely five stars. Food is great, is worth the price!, and you’ve got to try their variety of drinks. Can’t leave without trying “El Jarrito” (Tequila Drink). Definitely coming back.
