Wow! This is the definition of Mom and Pop restaurant. When we approached, I could smell the good food outside. Most people order from the window, but my party of four went inside. When asked what was good, the lady said that everything was good. She was funny and sassy.

This place has been around forever. The burgers are great. And the fries are too. Try the tacos. You’ll be surprised just about everything on the menu is good. Simple good burger. No gimmicks. There are no outrageous prices. It’s just a good homemade style burger.

Glass Kitchens is a signature restaurant of Laredo since 1951. Long considered one of the best if not the best hamburgers in town. Meat patties are still made by hand. The burgers never disappoint, are delicious and made to your liking. Oh those succulent onion rings. The bbq burger is just as delicious. Many of the loyal customers often order a big burger basket and a taco on the side. Did I mention the tasty onion rings! Just before you walk out, order one of the thickest shakes in South Texas. Good eats!

For starters the kitchen is very clean! I had a cheese burger basket and it comes with fresh cut fries (not frozen) . My son had a double patty cheese burger basket with fresh onion rings. I tasted an onion ring and it was thick and delicious. If you want a good burger or other mexican food try it out, but call ahead we are not the only ones that know about this place GLASS KITCHEN!

As always, The Glass Kitchen, does not disappoint. It’s an old school burger joint open for lunch and dinner. You won’t be disappointed with the burgers and fries. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. They also have brisket burgers and tex mex enchiladas if you’re craving Mexican food. Enjoy.

First timer, posting about this place. Ordering was quick although their dining space looked small and was completely filled. The food was being served pretty fast but decided to eat in the shaded area in my car. LOVED the onion rings with my Burger meal.
