By first time trying out the Queso tech specs restaurant. Service was excellent. Order the fish tacos. Generous piece of fish on each taco, but I wish they had a beneficial like mahi-mahi on their menu. The catfish or tilapia they used was a little too fishy for my taste for tacos. But, considering only two tacos came with the plate dinner it was still a generous piece of fish on each.

Me and my son had an amazing time here. Service was good. Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Food was so authentic and delicious and made greasy you could just taste it. My son wants to make this our new spot. He is 9 so that is an amazing thing that he found a place he likes the food as much as the staff and the restaurant itself is beautiful and clean

Queso is hidden gem of Mexican food in Baton Rouge. They atmosphere is large, clean and with high ceilings. Queso also has several TVs so you can watch the game. The food and margaritas here are SO GOOD! I have been a few times and enjoyed every dish that I have had. They also have a fantastic happy hour that cannot be beat! Seriously check this place out if you haven’t, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolute 10/10. Hubby and I had been wanting to try this place and stopped in for an early dinner with the kids. The food was excellent and they have a very kid friendly menu if your kids are like mine and pretty much only want chicken nuggets or a burger. Both kids ate and said the food was good which was a win all in itself. Hubby and I cleaned our plates because it was delicious. And the margaritas are top notch. Definitely going to make this a regular for dining out.

Tried this place on a whim and it didn’t disappoint! I went a little after 7pm so I missed happy hour but It wasn’t busy. The service was amazing and my waitress was almost too attentive! She helped me choose a drink and my entree!

This was our first time here. While still in their “soft opening” they seemed to have their act together. There were plenty of staff on hand, we were greeted immediately at the front door and taken to a table. The restaurant was clean and all of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were right at the cut-off time for lunch which is 4pm and we’re allowed to oder the lunch steak fajitas. They came out quick, were served as ordered and we’re delicious. Somewhat different than most fajitas served locally, these had tons of onions sliced real thin and hardly any other vegetables like bell peppers. The food was great, and staff friendly. My only negative was the music, too loud and selection/type was not my favorite. Go see for yourself, we thought it was a good value.

My dad and I went to eat here yesterday and all of the staff, from the hostess to our waiter- Mike- were all so happy and lovely. They made the atmosphere of the place so wonderful. The food was great but the people were the highlight. We will be coming back soon!

Great food and service! Best queso! Their salsa is super fresh and just enough spice! restaurant is soooo clean. Outdoor patio is nice and clean as well! Their bar looks good, will have to check them out one evening! A business that clearly takes pride! You cannot ask for more ! SUPERIOR could never make food this tasty!!!
