Food is really good, and plentiful. My wife and I split an order of chicken fajitas, and it was plenty of food for us. Chips and salsa is also very good! I had a margarita, and it was very tasty, and better than most I’ve had at other Mexican restaurants. The only negative was the service was kind of slow, and we had to ask for silverware and an extra plate for the food twice. Overall, we enjoy this restaurant, and the view of the lake is a plus!!

Was told we could wait at the (empty) bar for an outside table while they were on a wait for the outside dining. We proceeded to sit at the bar for nearly 30 minutes before even being asked if we would like a drink. I ordered the “skinny margarita.” Don’t recommend it. It tasted like a grossly watered-down version of the regular margarita.

me and my boyfriend ordered a combo of a taco and two enchiladas with rice. The menu never stated what was in the enchilada and the server never told us either. The food came out cold and soggy and tasted like it had been microwaved for thirty seconds. The service wasn’t that bad and the people were nice but the food wasn’t good at all. The taco, the enchilada, or the rice was not good

This is my go to spot! The lakeside is so peaceful, food always fresh, and staff is quick and friendly. If you haven’t been because “it’s El Maguey” give this place a try! I drive from Troy to here because It’s the best one in the area. It’s different than the rest!
