I’ve eaten at Tacker’s a few times now. Averagely, this restaurant is pretty good. It does have its moments, though. This visit wasn’t fully satisfying. We got the john wayne burger, the Mac n chick, chili cheese tots, and cheese sticks. To start, the chili cheese tots were very good. I liked that they used nacho cheese. The cheese sticks were great as well. For the entrees, the John Wayne burger was very good, aside from the bbq being a little dry and could use some more bbq sauce. The Mac n chick was not something I’d get again, just because it was a lot for one sandwich, so it was messy. The grilled chicken was delicious but a little dry and not proportionate with the rest of the sandwich (it was quite a bit smaller). Lastly, the fries didn’t taste very fresh, so that was kind of disappointing. We would still go back and continue to try new things because overall, because I’ve still had more goof experiences than bad.

When dinning in the food is good and service. Take out is another story. Ordered omelette and paid for salsa, I got NONE. Ordered a waffle, got no butter or syrup. I will go back for dine in, I’ll probably never order to go again. This was the 3rd time I’ve had a take out order missing something.

If you go here, it should be for the burgers and shakes. I haven’t tried everything they offer, of course, but what I have tried has been good. The burgers very good well made and seasoned burgers. The fries are ok, nothing special though. The chicken strips were just frozen chicken straps and were a little bit over cooked. The chicken fried steak was the same, just a frozen breaded meat patty, a bit over cooked. The flavor of both were OK. The shakes were very good, very flavorful and very creamy and thick. The extra large straws they give you to drink them with are needed. The service was very good and personable. The girl who waited on us was new and made a couple very minor understandable mistakes. Over all she did great. The place was very clean and well kept. We are looking forward to trying more of the menu the next time we eat there. I think I will he trying the philly cheesesteak sandwich.

We went in at 1:30 p.m. and it was a little on the busy side, however it was definitely worth the wait. They have a kid friendly menu. The food was great and the time from order to deliver was pretty fast. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean.
