A delightful dining experience from start to finish. The flavors are bold, but not overpowering and presentation is on point. This is definitely a place to share, as the portions are huge! The poached shrimp with green papaya salad was our favorite dish of the night. If we lived in San Diego we would definitely go back again and again to try everything on the menu. Thank you Kingfisher for creating such a lovely ambiance, and for your focus on service and hospitality.

Mouthwatering cuisine and we enjoyed very very much. Food quality and presentation are exceptional, tastes good, looks nice and smell delicious! Only one improvement is needed around the corkage price is a bit high. I definitely will recommend this restaurant for my followers and friends.

Everything was amazingly good here. I tried many dishes, and my favorites were the duck liver pate, the wild mushroom congee, the Vietnamese curry, the northern halibut, the skirt steak and the ginger cheesecake. They were all so flavorful and tasty

Such a hip yet relaxed feel to the restaurant. The tomato and stone fruit salad was such a unique blend of flavors, all very fresh and delicious. The clams were also very good with the coconut sauce that they came in, I even ate the whole loaf of bread to myself soaking up the sauce. Service was above and beyond, my server, Maria, even made sure my table was cleaned in between courses. And she really made my first experience here absolutely fantastic. 10/10 great food, wonderful service, and they have an actual parking lot. Can’t beat it.

One of best dining experiences I’ve ever had!! Service and food were phenomenal. Halibut and diver scallops were our favorite. We even cancelled our other dinner reservation so that we can eat here again before we leave San Diego.

Loved everything! One of my favorite places in SD. Only negative is having to pay for a reservation. It was my first time having congee and it was such a delicious and comforting dish.

The food was amazing, flavorful, simple and enough for sharing. Some of my favorites, congee, liver pate, Baja bass – the rice that comes with the bass is so flavorful, I ate every grain in the bowl and finally for dessert, the flan. It was light yet strong, not too sweet. Great finish to the meal.
