Home style cooking with great flavor. I had the special which was a phil steak sandwich with cheese and onions and peppers with fries. I had mine without peppers. My fiancee had a cheese burger with onion rings. The onion rings are home made and absolutely delicious!! Hands down great place, we plan on going again.

Stopped by around 1700 Friday. Food was fast, fresh, tasty and hot out the kitchen. My wife loved her burger, my son pleased with cheese sticks (they have a hidden ale cart menu I believe), and I enjoyed the catfish.

The big burger is exactly that….I took some home. The owner was there and he was wonderful. He told us how he ended up with the business and even about the beautiful tables. He showed us some of the other dishes as he served them at other tables and we will definitely go back to try them. Definitely a hidden gem

Very friendly and the food was great. Very generous portions. The slaw Taste amazing just like granny’s. The burger was so big it had to be cut into two pieces. The fish and shrimp were amazing also.

The people that are really friendly and it’s a clean place to eat as well. The food is awesome and it’s reasonably priced. If you’re wanting to buy a beer they have it. So far my favorite is the catfish dinner. Also the onion rings are amazing.

Just completed a 5 state, 5 day, nearly 2,000 mile bike trip where we ate at nothing but small, private restaurants. This was the best place of our entire trip by far! Great food, overly generous portions and super friendly staff! If you’re in the Ozark, AR area and you don’t visit the Cecil, you missed out!

We brought my brother and sister in law (visiting from Colorado) to Cecil for breakfast, driving from Pocola, OK. Their whole hog breakfast was amazing. Huge piece of ham served on its own plate with another plate of 2 Large biscuits, 2 eggs cooked your way, large portion of perfectly cooked hash browns and a bowl of gravy. The special part is the owners are so friendly and their service is wonderful. A note all the framed drinks on the wall are all done by Brenda herself and she commissions out. We love this place and can not say enough about the food and these lovely people.
