It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. I’ve been here a couple of times, and there is always a problem with cashiers, sometimes you arrive there and wait 5 mintues and no one is there to attend you.. Maybe if they shouldn’t be talking around and be at their workplace.

Slow, but we may have gotten there during a rush. We didn’t have anybody in front of us, as in a line. Very friendly staff, but the food was mediocre at this location. All of the fries were very soggy, and room temp/cold, by the time we got our food and walked out to our car. Even our kids wouldn’t eat them, and all I ordered was fries ☹️

Ordered a burger on texas toast. They didn’t put any veggies on it. Also ordered a #4, and the buns felt like cardboard. Very hard. Rated a 3 due to this. They took the burgers back to fix. The bun was still kind of crispy but we had already waited about 20 minutes.

My food was given to the wrong person but thankfully they remade the order. The cashier seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing but she could have been new. She was very friendly though. My fries were fresh and that is really all that matters.

I went early in the morning and got 2 chicken honey biscuit breakfast sandwiches. When I got home the chicken was cold and hard and the biscuits old. I went back up and went inside and explained the situation politely to the manager. She ARGUED with me like I was lying. I was just going to get a replacement but after that I just wanted a refund. NEVER going back

Just under an hour through the drive through line at 1:30 pm. There was 1 car in front of me when I pulled up to order kiosk. Ordered a pattimelt, large fries, and a large coke. No changes, nothing extra, just a pattimelt meal. When I got to the window the cashier couldn’t find my order. At the time I was the only one in the drive through. I sat there over 20 minutes and then she asks me to pull up. Anther 30 minutes and she walks up, sticks a bag with cold fries and a pattimelt up to the window and walks off. No conversation, no apology for the wait, no thank you for coming to whataburger, nothing!! Whataburger was once worth stopping at, but at this point I guess I’ll go to McDonalds!
