We did takeout from here today and the food was very good. We ordered two of the Holy Crab Trios which consisted of very generous portions of Deep fried Catfish, Large Gulf fried Shrimp and Oysters, fries and onion rings, garlic bread and sides of Coleslaw. We also ordered Naked Cajun Chicken Wings. All of the food was well seasoned and very tasty. We would definitely recommend and will certainly return. I especially loved the Large Gulf fried Shrimp. Looking forward to trying the Beignets and a Root beer float on the next order.

We got the fried trio plate, fried alligator bites, calamari, hush puppies, and a full pound of the fresh crawfish. Every single thing was perfect.

Penne pasta and Holy trio were very tasty. The fried boudin balls were a great starter. The breading mix was spot on tasty. Portion sizes were just right. I would definitely recommend giving the place a try.

This place is ok to get a quick fix on crawfish. The portion size is ok, but they only gave small crawfish with our order. The seasoning is tasty, but you don’t really taste it with the meat only on the corn and baked potatoes. Would suggest getting a loaf of bread to dip in with the seasoning.

On our way to a different restaurant on this strip, Holy Crab caught my eye. I love Cajun food, but it has recently started not agreeing with me…but I had to try out the Crabs. The appetizer (fried pickles) were on point and very tasty. My sister ordered the Oyster Poor Boy. The waffle fries were delicious; no complaints, but the Oysters for the sandwich were over cooked. My sister sent it back, and I felt awkward finishing my meal while she sat there. I ordered the Holy Crab Basket. The crab was very meaty. Not wanting to order Cajun Spices, I ordered Garlic Butter. The flavor was nice (I don’t like garlic, and there wasn’t too much on my order.) Their was a little kick on my crab, but not too much, so it was fine with me. In all I liked the food…my order was good for me. Unfortunately, we paid over $80 for only one of us to enjoy the food, but I really didn’t enjoy it sitting there eating while my sister watched.

Where to begin? They are definitely having some growing pains right now.

Holy Crab just opened under new management and they are doing a great job. Fantastic service and maybe the best catfish po’boy we’ve ever had. Loved the gumbo and the Bannas Foster was as tasty as it was fun to watch.

Crab cake meal was great. The Cajun waffle fries are the best I have had. I also had the fresh oysters. Very fresh for sure. Me and my wife ate 2 dozen. Delicious. Shrimp cakes are good but not as good as the crab cakes.

Was happy that a seafood restaurant opened near by. I ordered The bucket with an egg. Door Dash delivered it. I was taken aback when there was just one regular size take out container. The crab selection was good. There was only 1 potato, 3 shrimp, 2 corn niblets and 3 pieces of sausage, the size of pepperoni. For the price, I thought it would at least feed 2-3 people, not true for my family.

Overcooked, overpriced for the portion size.
