It is a very small restaurant located in a strip mall. There are only 3-4 tables for seating and nothing else – not even a restroom, so there’s not much to the place. However, the food was great. I got the Creamy Vegan Ramen with a side of an egg. I added fresh garlic and plenty of Onikasu (red spice) that are available on each table, which I really appreciated. The broth was so rich and flavorful, and I have happy with the toppings as well. I will definitely be back!

A great ramen experience for the suburbs. Their broth is rich and creamy, less soupy. They have a great selection of toppings and add-ons. Fresh garlic and chili powder at the tables. It’s small but amazing! You can order it to go as well as it’s just as good at home! I realized I was so excited to eat this ramen I forgot to take a picture of it xD

i saw that the reviews were good here so i decided to order here for the first time. i got it delivered through uber eats at around 10 pm. i ordered the red miso ramen and takoyaki. in the ramen i found a long piece of brown hair that was twisted into the noodles. i cut it out and threw it away and proceeded eating but it’s not pleasant seeing other people’s hair in my food… the food was really good but i wish they where more cautious and wore hair nets, tied their hair up, or wore a hat to prevent this from happening especially when you’re working with food and serving it to other people!

Terrible experience ever! I ordered tsukemen. When I tried to dip my noodles in the soup, I recognized that another amount of noodles in the soup already. I ate bit of noodle in the soup, nah, that was soggy and too soft. Totally diffrent texture than my noodle. Do they recycle someone’s leftover??? (I should take picture of it, but I was too shock and complaint right away.) I went to two diffrent locations but never had this kind of issue before. Employee gave me new soup, but I am still feeling bad and disgusting. Employees cannot speak english well (they used google translator to apologized to me), so no one explained to me what is going on and what is the fact of this issue.. but yeah.. if they recycle food, thats terrible.

Oh boy there new Japanese restaurant open right around the corner from my home! It’s CHICAGO RAMEN Lab! I had deep fried oyster appetizers, Shrimp Ramon soup and shrimp tempura!!!! Everything was delicious!!!! Brought me back to the days when I was 8 or 9 years old living in Okinawa!

I checked both Annex and Lab today which are both 5 minutes away. They both don’t have restrooms. Imagine you are eating then suddenly you have to pee. Places like these should not operate dine-in services if you cannot provide a sink for your customers to wash hands. You just want to take our money and leave us to figure out where to run for a toilet or a sink.
