All of the food we ordered was great! There are four sauces to pick from: mild, hot, sweet, and Texas style. All the sauces were great! Desserts are awesome! My husband loves the burgoo, which you can’t just get anywhere. Very clean restaurant and all of the staff were super friendly. We will be back!

First time at Hoskins & it was terrible! I had the smoked chicken with a side of coleslaw. The chicken was burned & so dry I could hardly swallow it! Chicken also tasted old…like it had been around for more than a few days. The mayo coleslaw was just bland, no seasoning at all. Only thing that was edible on my plate was the cornbread & it was pretty good. My husband had a chopped Brisket sandwich (out of sliced Brisket). It was ok, but he also ordered onion rings & they were pitiful…mostly just pieces of rings. Table was also sticky due to poor cleaning. Probably won’t b going back.

I would do 3.5 stars if that was an option. The new facility is beautiful and spacious but lacks the homey feel of the original. I was shocked by the order process, which felt remarkably like a fast food experience. The cashier was extremely patient (this was my first trip since the new location) and I was trying to make the most of my visit by getting more than a BBQ sandwich.

Great place to get a taste of Western Ky BBQ! The meat stands alone before you ever think about sauce and thats how good it is that you don’t even need to put anything on it. Don’t worry they have a sampling of sauces but go easy and enjoy the taste of the meat/pork.

Really nice place. Great decor. Same if not better BBQ than when they were in the old house. Everything had a really good taste. Added few pics. Service was friendly and fast. Was asked if needed anything several times when eating. Not a bad thing. Very attentive.

My husband and I chose this place for date night and we were less than impressed. There was a gentleman running the front and taking orders that was kind and helpful. His name was Grayson I do believe. We spent $40 on dinner and the kids working in this establishment were rude and disrespectful. Our food was cold, my nachos had seriously old and stale chips, there was no sweet tea, my husband ordered brisket and they gave him pulled pork because brisket was gone, he asked for a roll and the girl got mad about it. Said they were out of cornbread and that is what is normally served with it. I spoke up and let the staff know before we left and yet again Grayson was apologetic but other staff huffed and rolled their eyes at me. We could have chosen anywhere to eat ,as we were on our way to Paducah but thought that we would support a local business, but we will know better next time and I hope the readers reading this, know this as well.
