I have been all over the US and ate BBQ from one end to the other. This place is the real deal and is as good as any I have ever had. Very impressed and highly recommended!!! Brisket was awesome and the ribs excellent. Everything we had we liked. The hardest choice is which meat & which of 6+ sauces to use.

Counter serve bbq place in the mall. Nice open seating area in the restaurant. The daily special while we were there was a great price and the food was delicious!

Absolutely delicious BBQ! HIGHLY recommend this addictive and phenomenal food. Atmosphere is definitely comfortable and friendly. They offer high chairs for those in need, restrooms and soft serve ice cream. I’m so glad I stopped by and tried this place out. Conveniently located inside the Rushmore Mall.

What a delicious gem. Don’t let the location fool you. We tried numerous things, pulled pork sandwich, brisket, sausage, fried okra, and Mac n cheese, everything was delicious. Prices were great. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I love Maple Street Bar-B-Q food. We are from Texas and live here in Rapid City now. The food is delicious and moist, and the staff is very friendly. I enjoy the pull pork and hubby likes the brisket, sausage, and ribs. Our favorite sides are onion petals, waffle fries, okra, green beans, and grits. When available, John (the owner) is friendly and very conscientious about wanting everyone’s opinion about his food, restaurant, and staff. We always enjoy going there.

First time ordering food from Maple Street BBQ. Will be the last!! Ordered brisket, sausage, and pulled pork, along with sides and rolls. Brisket was very dry and burnt could not eat any of it. Sausages was very dry, and the pulled pork it was some what decent. As far as the rolls we ordered we received a half load of Lakeland bread. They reported they do not make rolls but offer sliced bread. I was thinking maybe they made bread loaves and slice it but nope you literally get a half loaf of store bought bread which I could have just used my own. Wow what a disappointment on the entire meal experience from Maple Street BBQ. We sure do miss Dickies BBQ!!!

I searched high and low for lunch yesterday before going to the movies. Settled on bbq. The price almost scared me away. 30 bucks for a pound of brisket. Chef, let me try a sample. Good thing I didn’t leave. Brisket was good. They have a variety of bbq sauces to try with food. The brisket tastes like my own. Dark heavy bark and juicy middle. Seasoned to perfection. The green beans are not so much seasoned. I would recommend some creole seasoning for them. Overall, I had a great experience and was happy I stopped. Highly recommend if stopping through area and hungry. Military discount available.

Worst BBQ restaurant experience I have ever had. Ordered a brisket sandwich and loaded mashed potatoes. Walked in at 5:30pm and should have listened to my gut when the place was completely empty. Brisket had no flavor what so ever. The mashed potatoes where loaded alright..loaded with garlic and onion. There was no cheese, bacon or anything else that would make you think of when it’s supposed to be loaded. Way over priced! The rest of my party took one bite of their pulled chicken sandwiches and wouldn’t even eat the rest. The only reason I would give it 1 star was for the employees.
