Of the taco trucks in town they are by far my favorite. A unique item on their menu is the birria Ramen, give it a try. U won’t regret it. Also their salsa verde is fantastic. I wish they bottled and sold it.

Had to try this place out as it was highly recommended. I ordered a Asada Burrito $8 and One Taco $2 (pork). Both were good and I enjoyed the two sauces that came with the meal. Quick service and clean place. I did think the price of the burrito was a bit on the high end for the amount of food you get, but I understand that food prices (everywhere) have gone up. I did think the pork taco had more flavors than the burrito. I would come back and try again if I’m in the area. Keep up the great work!

Tables are right next to Army Post Rd so it’s very noisy. There’s one problem with the food. They need to use filtered water. Des Moines has terrible tap water. The water has a very chemical taste so if you get the soup or anything washed with tap water it really affects the taste. The salsas are awesome.

Portions are large. Friendly workers. Authentic soft drinks and an open-air bohío (if you want to hang out) add a nice authentic flair to to the place. Compared to other taco fast-food places in the area this place is my new favorite. I wouldn’t compare it with a fancy indoor sit-down restaurant because that would not be a fair comparison.

Went this past weekend.. worse “authentic” mexican food I have had in the Des Moines area. The very little meat in the tacos and burritos was dry and did not have much taste at all the tortillas were hard and did not have a good flavor either.. also the horchata was not good at all. It tasted like a cheap store brand powder drink. Way too overpriced for the bad quality of food they served.

The food was made quickly and turned out great! Can’t find a taco truck that delivers great taste with such efficiency, let alone most restaurants! This truck deserves more recognition for its quality and authenticity ⭐
