Wonderful BBQ place, apparently well known by the locals and it’s always a great sign. Picked 3 item meal and a BBQ baked spud. The BBQ spud was great, totally recommend it. Brisket was a bit dry but didn’t have useless burnt ends/barks you’d see elsewhere. Sausage and ribs were both pretty good. Best of all none of the items were salty, which is a blessing for blood pressure. Iced tea is pretty great and highly recommend it.

Quaint restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, Log cabin with a duck pond. Great food. My husband and I both got the Brisket Dinner. The meat was tender and full of flavor. One of the sides was a loaded baked potato salad, it was absolutely delicious. The servers were courteous and gave generous serving of meat and sides. I definitely will go back again.

Smoked turkey breast was amazing. Ribs were good. Brisket was a bit dry but had decent flavor. Rolls were good. Sides on the other hand weren’t worth eating. We got cheesy ranch potatoes because they looked got but they did not taste that good. Fried okra was awful, not sure how they messed it up but it wasn’t edible!

Does not sell alcohol anymore, but, the food is always great. The prices are great considering the amount of food you get. The only thing I have tried and not liked is the smoked chicken…it’s dry and cut weird where you wind up with a lot of small bones. Everything else on the menu is awesome.

Amazingly great food. It took me a bit away from I10, but it was well worth it. I tried the 3 meat plater and i was surprised at how soft and flavorful the food was. Also, the servers were super polite and friendly.

The food here is awesome..the ribs are the best topped with their tasty bbq sauce with side of their delish patatoes salad. Husband has the ribeye steak sandwich which was very juice and cooked to perfection. The place is clean and their country decor is just perfect to create a welcoming atmosphere. 3 miles off the interstate but well worth it. Definitely a place to stop when driving by Winnie.

The potatoes were out of this world. There were big portions, and it was kid friendly. It was exactly what we needed heading out after a day at the beach.
