5 stars. Let me explain something. Most of the menus you find online were under the old owner and he died. They still have a great menu and I am adding photos that are recent as of 04/22/2023. Use these for your best Italian food decision in Lake City.

Stopped in for a couple subs and was really impressed! Tried The Godfather (Italian cold cuts and mozzarella) and a chicken salad sub with Swiss. The bread was perfect, had some crust and chew to it but not overly hard, and the fillings were all very fresh. This is clearly a gem in the lake city area, and could compete with the better Italian deli spots in Tampa. Well done!

I’m from New Jersey. Compared to the subs I’m use to, the large sub was equal to a small sub in New Jersey, no joking. The sausage was cut into slices and would fall off the bun every time I took a bite. What’s wrong with leaving the sausage whole but in half lengthwise I guess toasting the bun is their signature, but it was a little over toasted and I didn’t care for it. To be fair, i didn’t try a cold sub And I will try an entree next time and update my review.

I’ve always been a huge fan of calzones and this was the best one I’ve ever had, hands down. The dough was very light and it was STUFFED to the brim with mozzarella and ricotta. I added bacon and spinach. The portion is HUGE. My boyfriend and I split one and still had leftovers. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be going back!

We had The Godfather sub and it was amazing! The bread was so fresh with a fantastic crust, there was a ton of meat piled on, the veggies were fresh, and the buffalo mozzarella was perfect. The service was very friendly, the seating area was clean (as were the bathrooms).

Sadly after traveling through America on a three week road trip we came back into FL only to discover our quest for the best Italian sandwich shop was right here in our home state. I could have saved hundreds in gas in hotels… lesson learned.
