Decided to give it a try while traveling. 3 piece chicken and mashed potatoes. Chicken was good and fresh. Good large pieces. If I lived here it might be my go to place for chicken. Small location on Lomas. Drive stayed fairly busy the whole time I was there.

The area is a bit sketchy and the building itself is a bit shabby and could use some refurbishing….with that said the food was delicious! It was served super fast and the nice cashier who took my order was very helpful and patient with my while I ordered. Did I mention the chicken is good!

I had a breakfast burrito for breakfast one morning and it was good. I had the rib plate for lunch on a different day and it was good. Golden Pride is a staple in Albuquerque and this location delivers hot quality food at a fair price. I wish they had a bigger menu, but I guess it’s better to be consistent with a smaller menu then spread the menu to thin.

I LOVE Golden pride almost as much as I love The Frontier restaurant! I don’t particularly care for the green chile stew, but the ribs are my absolute favorite, all the food is consistent, and the speedy service is a huge plus. I’m never discouraged when I see 20 cars at the drive-through lines because I know that it will still only take about 10 minutes to get my order. The prices have always been reasonable too. Don’t forget to grab a Frontier roll and a dozen tortillas!

Chicken tasted of burnt grease or butane. This could make someone sick. The mashed potatoes were obviously made from package and not fresh potatoes. We threw it all away. Money and time wasted.

I’m sure the food is good here but on two separate occasions now I’ve come here, sat at the drive thru and waited over 5 minutes and had zero response like as if they weren’t even open but yet the car in front of me had received a bag so clearly they must have been open. When u got to the window to order there the employe just turned her back and walked away.

Flavors were good. I enjoyed both the ribs and chickens. Very cheesy macaroni and flavorful potato salad. I had nothing that tasted bad. Drive-thru wait can be long. If you have patience, it’s worth it.

Good breakfast burritos. We got the #1 and #3, which are the same burrito but only 1 has green chili. They were both ok but the one without chili was a little flavorless the one with chili was a little too spicy, but when mixed together it was very tasty. We also got the sweet roll, which was good but not worth the price.
