We visited the Harris House and it was ok. Our food took over 45 minutes to be served. The waitstaff kept saying it’d be “10 more minutes”. It was frustrating when we were all hungry and ready for a hot meal. They did give us free bread to appease us for our long wait but it would have been nice to get that at the beginning before we got hangry. The oyster stew can be made with or without milk, which was unusual to us, but it was full of oysters. The hamburger steak was as expected. They do have a decent salad bar but the bowls are tiny. If you order a soft drink it comes in a can with a glass of ice fyi.

Seafood extremely bland and undercooked. Except the fried oysters, they were too crunchy to eat, mostly breading. Crab cakes full of grease. Overpriced. Best thing was the salad bar, but the salad bowls are super small. Added gratuity on the check themselves

I’ve never really liked this place. Though I’m always told they do the best seafood (too bad I don’t eat seafood) on the menu it said homemade hambuger which it’s not it’s the patties they were very dry. The sweet tea is not sweet at all. I can depend on their mashed potatoes and bread. I guess everyone got to have something good.
