I am absolutely please with this place! Bryn was our waitress and she was great! We had the calamari, empanadas, & fried cauliflower for appetizers- they were fantastic probably my favorite thing we consumed! & they came with multiple dipping sauces! As my meal I got the cuatro (3 tacos and a side) the thai chicken was okay not my fav, the pacific rim which only came with one price of mahi & the Korean carnitas which my favorite out of all them! We sat on the patio because it was shaded on this hot and and was surprised with some breeze! All in all this is a great spot and would definitely recommend!

Fantastic place in a good location..Delicious appetizers and tacos and decent beer selection..wine and liquor were also options but I stuck with signature blonde ale. I’ll definitely be back again I left stuffed but eager to try more of the menu.

The food was delicious! I came here to eat with my best friends and they also really enjoyed the food, the vibe here was aesthetically pleasing and the prices were worth the portion sizes you receive! Will definitely be coming back to try the tacos!

If could give zero starts I would food is completely flavorless presentation is pretty but if your going for taste avoid it tasted like nothing and staff didn’t greet us when we arrived and it wasn’t busy our server was the only one who talked to us but I would avoid this place if you want food that actually tastes like something

Fresh, unique, and reasonably priced. Food was delicious, service attentive but not over bearing, 2 ate dinner with app, drinks, and dessert for under $60. Great experience. Will definitely be back!

The thing about Taqueria Tsunami is if you know their menu then you’ll know what to get, and it’ll be delicious. Sometimes you wander and try and get something different and it’s average. The beef empanadas pictured here is an example of that… they look great but unfortunately they don’t have any flavor. Luckily it does come with a sauce which is tasty. Their Asada Zing Taco is alright, it is tender which is appreciated but I wish it had more flavor. The Aloha taco is a grilled chicken teriyaki taco and has some great flavors BUT where the money is at on the taco side is their PACIFIC RIM TACO Grilled Chilli Crusted Mahi topped with lettuce, Pico de gallo, and their hoisin lime aioli…. it’s so good!! Their BAJA taco which is also fish is great as well.

I couldn’t have asked for a better lunch! The restaurant is clean and borders on minimalist in decor – in a very good way. The service was excellent – perfectly timed and consistent without being interruptive. But the food…oh my! It was wonderful (and look at the presentation in my photo)! The owner (I think) came by and I told her it was my first time in and everything was excellent! What a great addition to the Gainesville square!

From a taco lover, these are the best quirky tacos. The steak tacos have mouth watering steak. So delicious and so reasonably priced. Love the atmosphere. Glad to see new exciting placed in Gainesville to eat.
