We were in the mood for salmon and this restaurant was listed in Google Maps. It was close to our hotel so we decided to try it. It’s a small Hawaiian diner that has the most tender blackened salmon we’ve ever tried. I was worried it would be spicy or too peppery, but it was simply delicious! It was served with a mango salsa, salad, and our choice of rice and beans that had a coconut cream sauce over it that was amazing. I love coconut cream but had never tried it in a simple sauce over rice. Our meal was in foil tins that made it easy to seal and take our leftovers to the hotel to finish later in the evening. The serving staff were pleasant and seemed to really like their job. The Hawaiian music in the background gave the place a very tropical atmosphere. I give this restaurant five stars and ten thumbs up.

The food is good, tastes homemade and not at all like greasy “fast food”, it is a little overpriced but what isn’t these days. The seats are nice and comfy and the restaurant is cleaned every single night. The restaurant feels very tropical and safe. And the food is almost also out fast, once in a while it will take long but it depends on how busy they are, if they’re understaffed (which happens A lot) or if you buy something that takes longer to cook like steak, shrimp, salmon, chocolate cake, or pineapple cake.

Always A Pleasure! The salads are great, the workers are happy and helpful. My favorite salad is the Sweet Pork. It puts the Mexican salad at Cafe Rio to shame. It is similar but with a coconut rice Hawaiian flare. This place is the BEST! It is a joy to eat here!

Rumbi grill has gone downhill for quite some time. Their menu is outmoded, outdated. Even with new decor, the vibe just is not there anymore. Everything was really dirty, wobbly tables were propped up with wads of rags, I don’t expect this place to be open much longer unless they do a major overhaul on menu, and staff. However, The person taking my order was very pleasant.

Be ready for reduced quantities of food in takeout. Maybe this is what they have to do to survive in Covid (which I truly feel bad about) but our salads, bowls and Rumbi fries were about 60% of the size they used to be. Unfortunately the price doesn’t justify.

My wife and I visited this location while in town at the I dian Motorcycle shop. I had no idea what to expect since I had never been before. The employees were pleasant, but the service was slow and moved like pond water. The food was acceptable, but nothing special. I ate it. I’d try them again.
