Great breakfast place. Very busy especially on the weekends. Wait was about 30 at 10:00am on a Sunday. Sat at the bar and it was a great experience. French toast bites were excellent. I had the biscuits and gravy that came with eggs, bacon, and a fried green tomato. Bloody Mary was very spicy.

Fantastic brunch! My wife enjoyed an omelet. I had eggs benny. Mimosas and Bacon Bloody Marys were yummy. We sat at the bar and had great service. Will definitely return!

Was excited to try a new brunch place. Was able to join the waiting list online and was seated after 5 minutes of arriving. To my surprise, a lot of the menu items were discontinued, and the menu was not up to date. Two of the dishes we wanted to try were part of that. One of our party’s drinks was forgotten for about 20 minutes, and even with it being a simple soda, it took us telling the waitress that the drink was missing because they did not notice. The food tasted great, the wait for the food was not long and the price was fair. This place has great potential, just needs a few minor improvements. Overall it was a good experience.

Good food, friendly staff. I will say it was roomy enough to accommodate our large party but our food was apparently prepared in rounds and brought to the table that way. It was a long wait between ordering and receiving food also and some items were lukewarm instead of hot. I have to say I do NOT recommend the biscuits but everything else was good.

I’ve wanted to visit Ruby Sunshine since they opened up on 280. Yesterday was the day! I was greeted promptly and seated at the bar. The server was so nice, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is NOLA-forward. While interesting drink choices and delicious brunch food options make it hard to decide what to order, one can rest assured that there are no wrong choices here. I ordered the St. Charles Chicken, an eggs Benedict dish with fried chicken and creamy Tasso gravy. It was awesome!! The soft poached eggs paired with crunchy fried chicken on top of a biscuit made a delightful meal. The creamy Tasso gravy … too good for words, just go have some. My first visit to Ruby Sunshine will not be my last visit. I am happy to have another great brunch place to invite friends and family. Thanks to the staff of Ruby Sunshine for a nice visit and great food!! Y’all rocked it!!

This restaurant had a really fun, upbeat, and clean environment. Though our coffee wasn’t too great our server (Sheree), the bacon, and the French Toast were great. During this morning’s mid breakfast rush the food came out quickly, freshly prepared, and hot. Definitely a place to come back to.
