We did the Omakase meal and it was superb. The fishes were different and tasted great with no dip. The appetizers were great and unique as well. And that brown sugar ice cream! A must get if you love bubble tea. It’s so creamy. Great way for us to end our last day at NYC.

Very casual but high end sushi experience. I had the omakase and thoroughly enjoyed every course. It’s a ton of food, all with unique tastes that are really quite interesting.

Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. Even the ginger is amazing. The chefs and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Good selection of sake and soju. Pricey but well worth it. Once you try it, you’ll never eat take out sushi again.

My husbands favorite lunch spot around work. I finally got the invite and boy did it deliver. A small sushi counter with a few tables and two lovely men running the lunch crowd. I opted for the lunch combo menu and went with the spicy tuna roll ( ) and the yellowtail roll, and then four pieces of nigiri that the chef chose. I also added an Uni roll because it was super fresh – so glad that I did. This spot is such a gem. Amazing sushi and service.

Incredible spot. Easily one of the best places for omakase. Very cozy and homey interior. Seafood was fantastic quality! Highly recommend.

Really nice place. Not too busy, but enough to know the place is frequented often by regulars. Fish was hella fresh and they had Hakkaido uni!! Super nice chefs and the staff was very friendly. Reasonably priced, perhaps a little on the lower side of $$$. They let me order directly from the sushi chef (not rare, but not common these days). Go in the spring and get the firefly squid!!

The chef’s selection omakase meal was the best tasting meal I’ve ever had. The fish melted in your mouth. Every course was incredible. It got so good that I forgot to take pictures of all the food. And the staff could not be nicer. I will definitely be back

In a city full of amazing sushi places Dairo is a hidden gem. The sushi is delicious and such quality. The lunch menu is great value. $25 for 4 nigiri and two rolls – mix and match however you want or go with chefs choice. Comes with miso. I keep going back
