This is the best unique and traditional 100% Japanese Food. Love the Miso Soup and Dragon Roll is the best ever. Jose is very good waiter and very welcoming atmosphere with cozy feeling to the place. Every time I come here I feel like I am back in Japan visiting. Will be coming back once again.

I used to like their pork cutlet, it was juicy and tender. This time, the meat is a bit dry. However, The sushi deluxe is fresh.

Great Japanese restaurant offering more than sushi. Every dish we had was very tasty and the service was excellent. Small restaurant, doesn’t take reservations, well worth a visit

We had a really good lunch at Fujinoya the other day. We got there a little after 12 (when they open) and were quickly seated. It’s a fairly small restaurant with fairly plain decor and low lighting. We ordered the gyoza, shrimp tempura rolls, and the sushi regular lunch special. The sushi came with 7 pieces of regular sushi (which are the same ones listed in the sushi lunch description), california rolls, and miso soup. Honestly this was my first time trying real sushi and it was all really good! I think some of the sushi didn’t have a ton of flavor, but not sure if that’s typical. I’m also not sure what the difference is between the sushi regular and sushi lunch special is because they seem the same with a $10 difference. I guess it could be a portion thing, but honestly the portion of this was already really small and kind of expensive. Another quick note would be that they close at 2 and reopen again at 5-9 so keep that in mind! I’d definitely come back because I’d like to give the rolls and noodle dish a try!

Delicious Ramen, gyoza and sushi. Seating is limited so Sunday night is a good time to get seats easily.

A cozy local spot that is fantastic for Japanese food, especially reasonably priced sashimi and rolls! The interior is lovingly decorated from the ceiling (parasols are hanging downwards) to the screens between tables, but note that dining space is limited. We went on a weekend evening right before 7pm and there was no wait along with ample parking spots. By 8pm, there were people in the waiting area and only one parking spot. I would recommend arriving for dinner on a weekday from 5-7pm to enjoy their dinner bento boxes, which are only available for dine-in.

Haven’t been here for a while due to the pandemic. But I’m back to relive all the great food I’ve had for a long time. The ramen is authentic. The bento lunch boxes are delicious. The service is good and attentive. Good selection of sake. You can also get sushi from the small sushi bar.

One of the finest places to eat sushi in Westchester. A former fire station, the seating is a bit close-up, but the sushi is always fresh and well prepared. The proportion ma between rice and protein is alway excellent. The uni is perfect. I highly recommend this place!

Very cute, very tiny place! They don’t take reservations, but we had no problem getting a table on a Friday night around 7pm. Really friendly staff. The gyoza were amazing – tender and flavorful filling with a perfectly crisp and browned wrapper. We also got: shishito peppers, a special spicy tuna crunch roll, an eel tempura (with no cucumber) roll, and the tonkotsu ramen (added an egg which came hardboiled instead of soft boiled which was a little odd but fine). Everything we had was pretty tasty – no complaints, but the gyoza was the only real standout.
