My husband and I stopped in for lunch. It was our first time and we weren’t familiar with any of the menu items. The gentleman behind the counter was very patient and helpful in explaining the choices. We took the food to go and as we arrived home, I realized I had left my purse at the restaurant. We rushed back to find my purse safely behind the counter. I was so thankful. Finally we got home and were able to try the food. The shawarma was amazing, and we loved the hummus and pita bread. Great food and great people. We will definitely be eating there again soon.

Food tasted good. Tried the mezze platter and lamb gyro. Lamb gyro is quite salty.

First time in and the staff was great. They answered any questions I had pretty enthusiastically. I guess when you have a good product and know it, you’re willing to share. The food was great. I had a beef & lamb shawarma, while my son had a cheeseburger and fries. All was excellent. I highly recommend this place, especially considering how few good places and limited the diversity of food is in this area.

This place is great! I was their first customer and they always remember me and my order when I come in. They are the most friendly, and wonderful staff I have ever encountered, ever. The food is awesome! Lamb and beef wrap for the win! The portions were a little small when they first opened like some reviews mention. However they took that to heart and now their portions are perfect for the price. I would highly recommend anyone try this place. Between the great food and first rate service it will be money well spent. Love them.

This was my second visit to this fine establishment. I came back for another round of chicken kebab plate with rice, sauces and salads. It was consistent and delicious. The place is clean and the owners are very courteous and down to earth. They even played my favorite song of my place of birth Lebanon which I truly Enjoyed and it threw me in a world full of memories.

Had an awesome lunch at Zam Zam. Had a schwarma wrap. It was a mix of lamb and I think beef. It was freaking good!! The place itself was nice. A hole in the wall but busy. Don’t know if it was a mother/ daughter team but the two ladies were as nice as could be. If you’re in the area, give em a try!! You won’t be sorry.

My friends and I were on the way to a reception in the Bay Area and needed a light meal to keep us going before the evening’s festivities. I did a search for Mediterrananean/Greek food and up popped Zam Zam. It was about five minutes off SR 4 so it was convenient to stop and find. We walked in and the owner and his wife greeted us with a cheerful smile. The menu had a good selection of fresh foods and we each had a good choice awaiting us. The food was freshly prepared and served timely. The best part, was that it was fresh and flavorful, with a California edge, making our selections even better! The kabob, falafels and tabbouleh we each enjoyed were great!

Best East Bay spot for falafel, and ties for my favorite in the Bay Area. Not fancy, but excellent food, good prices, clean, well-maintained establishment, and friendly, helpful staff.
