Light and bright restaurant with good vibe and atmosphere. Service was great with very friendly and attentive staff. Food was good. We both ordered the halibut which had good flavor and presentation and was a good portion size, but was over cooked and they were very generous and removed the entrees from our check. We will certainly return for another visit.

The service and food were both great. The happy hour small plates are great and are not particularly small. Happy hour is highly recommended.

I love this place! The food was great, and the service was excellent! I highly recommend Happy Hour deal 3pm to 6pm because price is reasonable! We ordered duck tacos, octopus, and blue crabs. They were all delicious. We will definitely come here again!

First time dining here and we had the pleasure of being served by Alex. We had reservations and were promptly seated at a nice table with a view of the lake. Started out with some drinks from the cocktail menu. They were great as well as the bread board for starters. Instead of an appetizer we ordered the mussels from the small plates menu. They were out of this world good! We each had a steak (amazing), but the grand finale is the chocolate cherry flambé. You must save room for this! Excellent quality all around, especially from our server. Thanks Alex!

We were so excited to have a true fine dining experience without having to drive to Sarasota. The Banyan House did not disappoint! The Tequila and Lime Duck Tacos were amazing! The Lobster Linguine was cooked to perfection and the Grouper entree was extremely flavorful! Service was impeccable. Try the Cosmo or the Smoked old fashioned. The ambiance is delightful. In luv with this restaurant!

This was the first time at “The Banyan House”. I must say I was very impressed! We started with the bread basket, homemade rolls with a delicious black garlic butter that was very tasty. We then shared the Wedge salad with candied bacon (OMG delicious) and not your usual blue cheese or ranch style dressing this also was very good. Our Entrees were a Strip Steak with some delicious fries, (truffle flavor) and a Rib Eye (14 Oz or 16oz) not sure i forgot, cooked exactly the way I like it, with that was a small crock of very creamy Mac and Cheese and a veg. If this wasn’t enough we had to try desert that our outstanding waitress Rhonda recommend, the warm Bread Pudding with homemade ice cream, it was the perfect finish to a delicious meal. Thank you Steve (the manager) for coming to make sure our experience was nothing short of perfect and to our fantastic waitress Rhonda who provided us with tips on the menu and providing excellent service, we definitely will be back and have made this are new dining go too!!

This new restaurant brought their A-game. Took my mom to The Banyan House, we’ve been wanting to check it out. Had reservations, parked right in front, no issues. Zoli quickly seated us at a private table with a beautiful view of the lake. The Banyan Cosmo is a must try, very fun, especially when that bubble pops, Mom was all smiles. The bread service was plentiful and came with whipped and black garlic butter- delish. We started with Traditional French Onion soup, excellent. Mom ordered the citrus poached gulf shrimp, I ordered the Maryland Blue Crab Tower, both very good. The Veal Bolognese Alla Genovese was excellent paired with a house Cab from Napa. Since it was a celebration, Zoli presented us with the Pecan Bourbon Bread Pudding, which was out of this world. It came with homemade Butter Pecan ice cream on the side. Not one to order dessert, we shared and loved it! I highly recommend this new venue for a growing community. Very impressed with the staff, General Manager Stacy came by to say hello and make sure everything was to our liking. Mom gives it a thumbs up! Excellent new fine dining option, we will be back.

This was our second time eating there and we will definitely be returning. The restaurant is gorgeous inside and we were greeted promptly by staff and seated in a beautiful semi circular booth facing the lake. Dwight our server came over and introduced himself to us and we ordered cocktails from the bar. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the views and we didn’t feel pressured to order and rush through our meal.
