Stopped in this cute little town. It was later afternoon and went in for lunch. We were the only ones there. The gentleman there was very nice. Ordered our food and he went and cooked it. I had a very good, fresh spring mix chicken salad with onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. It had a good helping of grilled chicken cubes on it. Husband ordered the dry rub boneless chicken wings. They were really good. I had iced tea, it was nice and fresh. Place was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend. Had a lot of items on the menu to choose from.

Stopped here on family road trip along 1-80. All four kids liked the food, and I appreciated the healthy menu options. The service was excellent. Would absolutely eat here again.

It is your typical small town bar. We tried the gizzards and cauliflower, both were good. The tenderloin was OK, but “everything” didn’t include pickle and onion. You pay $2 extra for that. The battered curly fries are actually side winder fries that are available just about anywhere. I ordered a chicken wrap, add bacon, which was a $4 upcharge, which is twice what the menu showed. Also got charged $2 for a small side of garlic dressing. Overall, it wasn’t what we expected for such a highly rated joint.

Found Toots Bar & Grill on Google map for food to go. My husband and I didn’t realize there’re two time zones in Nebraska. We were early for their opening hours. The owner let us in and ordered our lunch. We were greeted warmly by his daughter. She was so friendly and helpful. We ordered a chicken salad and a pork tenderloin sandwich to go. Such lovely and warm folks. Food was good. Definitely worth stopping by when you’re on highway 80.

Food was definitely overlooked, which unfortunately isn’t the first time. Depending on who is cooking. Have had a few good cooked just right meals there. One time portions are adequate and the next time you have to look for the side order. Staff is friendly.
