Portions are too small for the price and the food is just as flavorful elsewhere. I am disappointed tonight. I pay $10 less at el ranchero & get double the amount of food. This is why I don’t try new things. The salad was literally two small bites worth of lettuce. The carnitas, I can tell are not fresh. Tamales & cheese dip were good.

This was really dissapointing. The food was bland, the portions were miniscule, and the food looked nothink like the pictures. This felt like a hispanic gramma making lunch for a young American who is super picky.

By all means stay away. The most disappointing Mexican food I have ever eaten. The lack of taste with the lack of food for the price was again disappointing. Porto Nuevo if you are wanting Mexican in Spruce Pine.

The food was fair I ordered texanas acp and the few pieces of chicken that I got looked like thick cut deli meat and the beef pieces were about the size of a pencil eraser but the 5 shrimp I got were good and plenty of rice. But for $17 because the machine won’t let you hit $0 for a tip on a to-go order I expected a lot more for the money. So this is my first and last visit there. So if you like rice and not much of anything else then this is the meal for you. Service was good and the speed at which it was ready was good but that was about it.

We ordered to-go lunches earlier this week! Ready in 10 minutes flat! Everything was delicious- flavorful and bountiful. Pollo loco and chorripollo were our choices. We weren’t hungry when we finished- it could of been two meals!
